Ok, can someone please tell me what is the deal with sororities and fraternities in America? I've heard creepy stories about hazing and stuff and just want to know if its true...is it heaps important to get into one?

Fraternity: bunch of guys who kind of are well like a family.

Sorority: same with girls, but there much closer.

Pledges: people who sign up to Soroties/frats, they do all the dirty work

i worked with a guy who was in college. he took me to his place once were his college buddys lived and pretty much the only thing they had was alcohol. just massive amounts of not just beer, but rum, vodka, and all that other good stuff. so apperently frat boys love partying, prolly the same for sororities

 

Alchohol?... WHY DIDNT I GO TO COLLEGE??? instead im stuck with this variety of drinks at the foot of my bed...Jack d, Absynth, Bells whiskey, Rio grande tequila... *Realises he drifted off topic... if ever on it on the first place*

that pretty much what there is to do with frat/Soro's... do they still do innitiantions or are my sources of college life via porn inncorrect?

 

apparently <according to mere> you make an initiation and you do EVERYThing for the leaders. It is pretty much horny college people.

 

HAZING: What the frats do for initiation. It's bascially to humiliate you, such as a paddling, tying you up at a party, ect.

It's the typical stereotype that frat boys are alcohol-swilling horny guys. Same for sorority girls, only female.

 

Suppose the person that has to go through it is into S&M? wouldnt that ruin the point?

Pretty much, a frat is a place where guys hang out, get boozed, harass n00b13s, and um. Get more boozed.

A sorority is like a frat, except the girls arre like sisters more than the guys of a frat are like brothers. To my knowledge, the girls tend to chat more than drink, and have nude pillowfights.

I could be wrong though, good ol' FU doesnt have any frats. Or naked chic pillowfight clubs

 

Booze... paddling... nude pillow fights...Thats it im going to college *Grabs coat & walks out... forgetting it's 11;30pm*

 

Seriously, college is awesome. Here are a few true stories about me and my friends.

-One thing we've done is antiquing. Whats that? Throwing a lot of flour at someone while they sleep. Like, hard. They wake up all white and dusty, like an antique.

-We have photographic evidence of Tyler, riding a unicycle down a hall, wearing a monkey mask while drinking whisky. I still can't believe it.

-Grocery Cart + Hill = me, slamming into the trash cans at the bottom and rolling after a few moments of flight.

Theres a hell of a lot more, but, like a typical college kid who has just finished their first year, I'm lazy right now.

So far as all the frats, hazings and stuff goes. They won't mess with you unless you want in, in which case, its your own choice. BTW, did anyone hear on the news about that hazing that got all out of control and (as I recall) really hurt a bunch of people? I'm wondering if a few of the state governments are going to do something about it...

 

Bicycle jousting is fun. We used hockey sticks with pillows taped on the ends (given how fast we went sometimes, I dont think you can blame us. Hell, even the Jackass guys had armor on). We also wore a helmet and knee/elbow pads. Personally I'd also recommend putting a pillow in your shirt at first as well. We were lucky in that Peter has a home out in the country so we can get away with this stuff. Also, it was night. We have it on tape, if we ever get around to converting it to a divx I'll let ya know.
