Neon Genesis Evangelion The Games

hey forum its been ages since i was last here and im glad to be back.

anyway to what i was going to ask about. has anyone played any of the eva games because i donloaded one of the net for the N64 and its really good (bluddy hard cause all the instructions are in jap) but good and i was wondering wether there were any other games and if so for what consoles and if you want to know where i got the game from right back because i cant remember of the top of my head but i can go and look again

If you are trying to say that there is no Eva game on the N64 Shonen, you are mistaken. There is indeed. It's a rather dodgy beat 'em up style affair. I've not played it myself, only heard accounts.

 

yah i know there are a few other evangelion games. im not sure wut they are called but i know theyre for the sega saturn. i think one of thems about shinjis girlfriend..like the names sumthing like..girlfriend of iron...steel? sumthing like that.

 

There are a bunch of Evangelion games out (in Japan only, sadly...). There's one for the Wodnerswan game system, I forget what it's called. The Sega Saturn system had the Impression series (I believe there where two) and Girlfriend of Steel. The N64 had one, Evangelion 64 (I'm looking for a fully working version rom. Please let me know if you have one and an emulator that will work with it). The PC had the Raise Ayanami game. The sequel to Girlfriend of Steel is going to be released soon in Japan for the PC. The PS2 will also be getting a new game, similar to Raise Ayanami, but this version lets you raise either Rei or Asuka.

 

I have the N64 game. So my opinion is formed and logical.

IT'S CRAP!

It's like watching icicles beat each other up. Very slow.

And they try to reproduce some scenes using the game engine.

Which doesn't work.

And there are some different style levels, such as running to try and hold up the angel, where you have to jump over cables and stuff, incredibly fast. It's almost impossible.

Terrible game.

 

Meh, ive only heard of them for the saturn, playstation... seeing as they rarely leave japan (contemplates next holiday) meantime ive played one... not much action in a fighting sense... seeing as it was a hentai game
