    An assignment was given to me last week to answer 3 questions.

    I am most likely going to say the wrong type of procssors, but I hope you know which according to my questions.

    The lecturer told us to write about processors (probably micro ones) by answering to these 3 questions:

    • What data types are supported?
    • How many bits are used to store each data type?
    • How is each data type internally represented?

    He told us to take Intel, AMD and whatever as examples to talk about.

    Do I make enough sense for these questions to get answered? ^^;

    Yes. You want us to do your homework for you. :p

    Why not visit Intel, AMD, or whatever (never heard of that particular processor make -- is it new?) at the source and pull up their technical specs?

    (Under Products, Processors on the menu)

    http://www.amd.com/
    (Under Processors tab)

    Maybe because when I read about processors -to me- is like reading chinese?

    Anyway, my brother came home and he helped me finding some stuff right after my post (wich he was away when I posted this).
