Anime The Invid Invasion

Finally we have the Invid Invasion in Robotech comics and we can see hovertanks and alphas together ^_^

 

FINALLY!!!

One minor little thing: In the novels, Dana goes off on a quest to go find her parents (at least Im pretty sure thats what happened). Now I know that she never says this in the series, and the series overrides the novels as canon, but I'd still like to see that.

Actually, given how the new series is (from what I hear) Scott's quest to find the SDF-3, I'd like to see Dana in it (somehow). Also, Jack Baker (the player character from Robotech: Battlecry) could be in it. How, you ask? Well.....



*SPOILER*

As Jack is beginning to die, he says "The future looks so bright" and the screen begins to get really bright. Look closely and you'll notice that theres a ship in there, almost as if it was defolding. The design looks somewhat Zentraedi in nature (although I cant really make much more of a conclusion than that, given the short duration and that I dont have any screen caps.)

Now, anyway, as you know, Jack and the enemy Zentraedi had just engaged in a fold, right?

The thing is, sometimes folds also have a habit of shifting you through time (for example, the SDF-3...). So who knows? Maybe Jack got warped ahead to the time period of the new series, and will be picked up. Heh, I'd like to see that happen. Not likely but it'd be bloody great.



Anyway, this looks to be very interesting, especially since its placed at the fall of Reflex Point, hence, near the end of the series. Hopefully this comic miniseries will be another happy ending (did anyone else think Lisa Hayes looked hella-cute blushing when Rick proposed?)
