Manga "The Kindaichi Case Files"?

Has anyone else heard of this manga? I found a copy of the fourth volume, "Smoke and Mirrors," at the library and have been reading it. It's a sort of highschool detective story - about a teenage slacker who has a knack for solving mysteries. I'm sort of undecided on it so far - it's interesting, moreso than many of the more mainstream series I've read, but it's not the kind of plot that I usually spend time and money on. Would anyone recommend the other volumes?
