the knew battle

well let us look at the bright side at lest the animation will be the same but i still have my doughts in my mind that the series will not be good unless casey janet ronnie and alan are back doing the voices, and i still say that casey made the best voice of mark and janet made the voice of princess and yes i no that sandy frank wants to bring something knew to the viewers but still casey is still the man for mark. and i just believe that the knew voice and cast will kill the characters image.

 

Voices

I'm going to have a hard time without Casey Kasem voicing Mark. He made Mark alive, with emotion, and you could feel what Mark was feeling by the way Casey delivered the voice. Compare that to Ace Goodhart. That just brings shivers up my spine. And Ronnie Schell was practically popping out of the Battle of the Planets Guide book saying he wanted to do Jason again, especially the dying sequences. I don't know.

Sandy Frank has to know how well those voice actors worked in Battle of the Planets, and what disaster G-Force was. I guess we'll just have to trust that they know what they're doing. But I reject the notion that they aren't using them because they're voices are too old...especially Alan Young. Who's going to replace his voice for Zark?

 

hey mark you feel the same way i feel but i am telling you know from my point of view that the knew battle will not succed without casey janet ronnie and alan, because you see if sandy frank did not cast them when battle first came out in 1978 then find i could understand but mark you no as well as i do that casey janet and ronnie really made battle what it was and to not have them back after god knows how the series has been off of the air is crazy, and casey is still doing the voice of shaggy on the knew scooby doo animated series and he stills sound the same know then he did back then. and if you remember listenning to him and janet when they did joise and the pussy cats the chemestery was there and they wore like the pioneers who brought action packed to the series. hey look i am not bashing sandy franks for not casting the original voices but mark i have a real funny feeling that the knew battle will not work nor give the viewers what they really want i mean for the voice of zoltar i would try to get the guy who does the voice of mo jo jo on the powerpuffs girls he sounds a little like the late keye luke but the series is not going to work and sandy frank will make the same mistake that turner made when he change the series but again no one can do mark better then casey, did he really wanted to the voice for the knew series :dizzy2:

 

hey elvin whats up, as you too know that i am not so happy that sandy frank decided to cast knew voices but i still have dougbts that the series will not regain its popularty. and i still say that casey kasem still makes the best mark charcter and he will still sound better today. like mark said casey brought a lot of action to the table and trust me any fan who grew up watching battle and hearing casey voice will tell that he is the best person to get to do the voice hey he did the voice of robin, shaggy, and other cartoon characters. i still hear him now making a public service annonment on cartoonnetwork, i still say the series will be a big blow if casey janet ronnie and alan are not part of old or not old they were the voice's but watch what i tell you if battle airs again people who remember watching are going to complain watch

 

Well, you see, I have a more detatched view of the BotP show itself as I grew up on G-Force GOS. There is no competition in the voice acting for sure, I just haven't seen enough BotP episodes to get used to the new voices. Voice acting in general seems to be improving, though, so we'll just have to wait and see how it turns out.
