    The law

well well well, lookie what we got here? bwahaha
ok, rule time. debates are not contradictions(yes it is, no it isn't). ---a debate is a series of facts used to support an opinion, usually passed back and forth.
--please, feel free to ask anyone to support their arguement if it seems just too far fetched or desperate.
--no name calling, that is childish and uncalled for.
--if it's an opinion, it's not worth bothering with unless you are trying to persuade the person to think otherwise. it's your opinion until it is backed by fact(a source given).

i'd like to think i'm pretty leniant, so, let's all play nice. and remember:
    THINK BEFORE YOU POST!

also, don't tell people to shut up. they can state their opinion, even if they may be new to the boards. being a newbie doesn't mean you have no brian. and vice versa; just because you're a newbie, does it mean you SHOULD post like you have no brain.

and ALL spam or comments that drive away from the thread as i see fit, shall and will be deleted. please don't respond to them, it gets the arguement going, and possibly loosing you privaleges to this forum. i, and a few others, have wanted this forum for a long time, and i will NOT see if messed up by children arguing "he told me i was wrong!". if you're posts are gone, too bad, they weren't relevent to the topic you posted. and adding a half-a$$ed comment about the topic just to "make it not spam" will still get it deleted. and possibly any posts quoting you.

i am being a hard a$$ on this forum, more so than usual. this is your warning, i will probably be deleting alot of posts, and will not pm you of their deletion. if it's gone, guess what happened to it. if you feel it was relevante, try reposting. i may let it go a second time. but, chances are, probably not.

again, i WILL NOT SEE THIS FORUM TARNISHED!
if you have an issue with how i'm going to treat this place, tough. debates are for intelligent bantering. if you can't think you're arguement through, then you shouldn't be posting here.

also, threads made for just trolling, will be destroyed. and chances are, they'll be your last post in here once i find it.

I would like to state that I will also be enforcing the rules as Bloodberry put them forth.

We're not going to be lax in keeping this forum spam-free and flame-free.

Arguements are to be made in a thoughtful and, if not respectful, at least civil manner. We will NOT tolerate ad hominem arguements (arguing against the person, rather than against the idea).

We will, wherever possible, not close or delete threads. Debates should not be locked, as new input can always spark new ideas. We will, however, show no mercy in deleting or editting individual posts that flame, spam, or veer horrendously off-topic.

    You Have Been Warned.

Please enjoy your stay in Debates. Think smart, argue well, and have fun.

    - Ark

I would also like to point out that by intelligent and thought out arguements, I would like to include proper spelling in the definition. I know I don't take anyone seriuosly if they can't be bothered to spell the word at least phonetically. it's why not y. are not r. you not u.
this isn't a chat room, if you're being affected by emotions while typing please state that the spelling is probably gonna be off in the beginning of the post. then at least, we all understand WHY the spelling is horrible.
If you see random edits to posts, i usually comment what the edit was. if there is no comment, i probably forgot to saw you got something wrong, or that i put some form of punctuation in.
