Manga and Anime Awards The M2A Awards

Okay since we are currently voting on the number of awards here. We should take a look at some ideas for the categories and how long they will run.

Currently it is a tie.

Here are some categories submitted by Seishin:

-Best Anime Series
-Best Anime Movie
-Best Soundtrack
-Best Character
-Best OAV
-Best DUB

[Manga Section]
-Best Manga Series
-Best Manga Character
-Best Fanservice


I will be honest I don't know too many fanservice for manga that are not licensed. Which means they would be a no go. But there are the Gantz ones. This one would probably be limited.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Best Fanservice in the Anime Section. There is a lot more unlicensed material available for anime then manga.

-Best Anime Series of the Year (taking the months and voting on them)
-Best Debuted Anime in Japan
-Best Debuted Anime Dubbed
-Best Soundtrack
-Best DUB
-Best Anime Fanservice (Non-licensed material)

More then I planned on BUT Anime Series of the year is run only once a year.

I wanted to see a best debuted anime the chances of it getting the anime series of the month is pretty small unless it is the dubbed one. Then consider Best Anime Series of the Month can have ALL the anime like IY, RK, and etc so it limits it even more.

-Best Anime Series of the Year
-Better then the Anime (I know others can think of a better name right now I can't)
-Best Manga Character
-Best Fanservice

For how long they run. The Manga/Anime of the Month will run a month. The year ones are at a year like I really had to say that.

I could see the others running a few times a year. Maybe 3 times tops.
