    To assure all those who are acting like they're late, my birthday is June 29th (today). You haven't missed it yet. In fact, when this thread popped up it was still premature for me, as I was born and do live in EST time. Seems like the whole world is ahead of me, though. My sister cooked a meal for me last time I visited home (I took the week of May 24th off), and my brother sent me off with a shoebox of assorted comics at the end of that week. On the Monday of this week, I got a package of stuff from my mother and a card from my aunt. The office was wishing my a "happy birthday" two days in advance because of that, and it was impossible to sneak my day by them after that. And even yesterday I got a nice surprise gift from World of Warcraft - an epic Myrmidon's Signet dropped for me while I was soloing.

    I'm 24 as of today. My chinese coworkers tell me that's some kind of magic number. They said something about how it relates to how the Chinese Zodiac has a 12 year cycle. I was also encouraged to wear red every day this year to bring me good luck...or something. Day one: No red. ^^

    As birthdays are really marking a progression as a person or alternatively an advancement in life, I thought that perhaps a brithday is like achieving a new level in an RPG. After all the experiences I have had, I am now making the jump from level 23 to 24. Of course, I dropped that analogy really fast when I examined my stat increases - all I had gained was some points in weight. :p

    A big thanks to all for their well-wishing, and a nod to Teddz for ninjaing the thread together before anyone else got to it. This week has had a heap of surprises, and while today has been nothing but an average day at work, it's only half over!

    Happy belated birthday BMS. I won't add anything in or try and make a comment on something so simple as wishing you a belated birthday no image from me nothing of that sort or any wishes to long people give up reading them and I won't ramble on with one sentence making absolutely no sense when I could have obviously broken it down into several sentences of course I would never do that wait a minute I think I am doing that right now so I need to stop all the embarrassing rambling all I wanted to do was to wish BMS a happy Belated Birthday considering I am a few days late on this matter another thing I was wondering no I need to stop before I ramble on to long.

    Funny thing is grammar check didn’t tell me to revise that sentence. Heh.
