Anime The manga or anime?

    Which of the two would you choose, the nadesico anime(TV series) or manga(by Kia Asamiya, published by CPM Manga)?

    I like the anime more, well maybe to both stupit and good reasons. Where shall I start?

    Stupit, dumb, u name it reasons:
    The anime has more admirable drawing graphics... NO GAI in the manga!!!! Old pirate ship steering wheel *^^: well I don't know what it's called!* Nadesco in the manga is not as advances as in the anime.

    Good, fair reasons: The anime story is interesting. I find each character myserious in the anime. CC, Jovians and earth all have reasons to fight. It not a war where there is a evil side, its a war between diffrent views... Humourous, dramatic, romatic ^_^ that's the anime alright, I don't really see humour in the manga...

    Well these are my reasons... ^_^

    I've never read the manga myself. But I can't imagine Nadesico without Gai in it. I have seen Pics from the manga, and I'd have to say that the character design in the anime is much better.

    The anime was produced before the manga! That is something... Well, still the manga does need improvement...

    The Nadesico manga published by Kia Asamiya's is way to different from the TV series... I would choose the anime, because it's funny and the graphics are so good...

    I perfer the anime but that's only because I have only read 1/4 of the manga. I'm waiting for the evil people at CPM to release the rest of it in the smaller format but the next one comes out in March but the rest might never come out for all we know. I hate the evil people at CPM.

    For me i think the anime is mush better then the manga. The drawings of the manga just seem weird comparied to the anime. The only good part of the manga was that Ruri smiled more. :anime: But some of the characters were far to different. Like Minato had a different name and Hikaru didnt were her glasses. It was just odd.

    myself as well. I find animation can present the story in a better way sometimes.

    Like tha anime better b/c i get more laughs from it and the art is much better in it too. Also, The girls dont look pretty in the manga.There faces look so werid in the manga compare to the anime.
