Art the more things change the more they stay the same...

I've finally come to terms with the fact that I don't have a long enough attention span to finish one project at a time. ( I swear there's a sign labeled 'slacker' hanging about my head somewhere) So once again, an old pic recolored and a new background. I had to bring down the resolution and the size to make it postable, so the colors don't seem to be as vibrant anymore - Lemme know whatcha think ~Thanks

Oh yeah, I suppose clarifying that its a magic user casting a spell might be helpful...go me

 

That's a pretty crazy, cool background, and the character is well drawn, even if you say its old stuff renewed.

Those swirls look pretty nuts, and the muscles in the legs/boots look fancy are well done too. And the color scheme you used is quite nice, with the blues and reds, with black--both magical and sophisticated.

 

Thankyou very much! It used to be just a solid blue background and the coat was white. White hair on a white coat...hmmm, maybe when my skills are sophisticated enough to pull it off, but it didn't do anything for the character. I'm much happy with it this way...thanks for the feedback!
