Transformers the movie killed off Brawn, Prowl, Ironhide, Ratchet, Windcharger and Wheeljack of the autobots...and Kickback, Sharpnel, Bombshell, thundercracker, Skywarp (these 5 didn't exactly die but converteted into the sweeps, scrouge, and Cyclonus) Megatron and Optimus.

I mean, these characters were one of my favourites (especially Brawn and Wheeljack) and they got rid of them without a proper fight or a proper exit for some, except Optimus and Megatron. I understand that they did this to introduce the new autobots such as Kup, Springer, Ultra Magnus, Arcee, Blur and Hot Rod, and of course Galvatron and the others.

And also, surely the Protectabots, Aerialbots, Stunticons and Combaticons are made before this movie, why didn't they use them? I mean, it would be great watching, Superion, Bruticus and the other gestalt fight Unicron.

DEVASTATOR was there!!!, they didn't even bother to include him in the final battle when all decpeticons fought Unicron although the Dinobots had a go at him.

My point is that transformers the movie, although is good, should have reintroduced more of the originals into the movie. Note that Sunstreaker, Hound, Huffer cameos towards the beginning (they didn't die btw) and of course Preceptor, Jazz, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee and Blaster were the only 5 original autobot to feature more in the movie than other old auotbots other than Optimus and Ironhide.

As much as we all want to wish it wasn't true, the real reason the TF movie was made was so that we could move smoothly into Season 3 complete with all its new characters (hence, new figures to make, hence more money for hasbro.)

Transformers is controlled by the toy companies, not the script writers.

Well you know some times you see them, and some times they go after the series. But what was wrong with the new guys? Blurr was the best

The only thing that sucked about the beginning was they killed Prowl, Jazz, and Sideswipe. The good Autobots. The only ones that were in the original were Ironhide and Bumblebee

Are you referring to the movie? If so, Jazz didn't die and sideswipe didn't even make an appearance.
Everyone BUT ultramagnus, blurr, springy, hot rod, kup, arcee, galvatron and the sweeps were old transformers, not just Ironhide and Bumblebee.

to Deathsythe, I agreed Blurr is pretty cool, I never said the new autobots were bad. I just thought they cuda included them a bit more in the movie and the series after that.

Thanx for clearing it up, but who died in the beginning of the movie? I know one of them is Prowl and it was Bumblebee with Ironhide , not Blurr

If you scroll up to my original post, you’d see that I’ve listed all the deaths of both autobots and decepticons in this movie. Anyway…I’ll recap. When Megatron and the decepticons attacked the shuttle in bound for autobot city on earth. The first autobot to get killed was ‘BRAWN’ the tin head, who's transformation is a small green mountain jeep He's part of the small autobot team like which includesBEACHCOMBER, BUMBLEBEE, and CLIFFJUMPER. (Personally one of my favourite characters, shame they killed him). The second autobot was PROWL, who turned around his chair and fired a shot at constructicon – SCAVENGER. And was killed by him as well. (I always get mixed up between PROWL, BLUESTREAK and SMOKESSCREEN as they all look very similar.) The last two autobots, a white coloured autobot which is autobot doctor - RATCHET (transforms to a white ambulance which looks like IRONHIDES transformation of the van) and of course one of the best autobot around but sadly died – IRONHIDE.
You’d also notice that WINDCHARGER and WHEELJACK was killed on autobot city when ARCEE and SPRINGY went to push that big cannon into place to shoot DEVASTATOR outside.

O...It wasn't bumble on the shuttle, bumblebee (2 horned headed yellow volkswagen beetle) was with spike (the earth bloke) on moon base two which was gobbled up by unicron after he destroyed moon base one with jazz and cliffjumper on it

Indeed he was. But his ghost did return in later episdoes and used various decepticon bodies such as Scrouge and Galvatron

Starscream also makes an appearance in Beast Wars. Ravage did as well, though he didn't die. In any case, Starscream takes over Waspinator in the 3d series.

Well, the thing is, beast wars and tranformers generation 1 (the original tranformers) have different story lines but beast wars do have a link with it and refers to the autobot shuttle for a few episdoes. Beast wars (which I don't find very good) was the time filler when the autobots and decepticons crashed landed on earth and stayed there for millions of years until teletram 1 revived them all in 1987.

So I think starscream, ravage, silverbolt or whatever names which is the same as the G1 characters is merely a copy of names but have no relation between them. Well...that's my thoughts so anyone who thought this was wrong can tell me.

Actually, they said in Beast Wars that Ravage and Starscream are the originals. Starscream explicitly said that he was happy that he finally found another body to reside in, probably much to the distaste of Waspinator, bless his idiotic hide.

Ravage is also stated to be the original, the elders having sent him to ancient earth (how, I have no idea) to take care of the maximals. They also asked or threatened to take away his new body in favor of his old one. Which means that he was the same kitty as the cassette tape.

Silverbolt actually acts a lot like the Silverbolt in G1...not exactly liking to fight, but does so because it's the only way to try and get rid of the Great War...though it eludes my grasp in that they should have heard of diplomacy by then...or just have made another Cybertron to just have the Decepticons feast off of.

Beast Wars wasn't *GREAT*...but I also think the same now of G1. It was good because there were a lot of plot twists...though it probably would have been better sticking to animation than 3d, no matter how cool they looked later.

    Beast Wars was great...

Relatively grown up, nice designs... granted the toy companies got pretty damn antsy and messed it up near the end but its still good...

Anyway, something I find interesting, is that in the original comics, Ravage talked a fair deal.

Well, its a matter of opinion which transformer series people like.

Just to bring up another question. Where did all the original 'ARK' autobots go after the movie??? If you go back to the movie, huffer, hound, sunstreaker, bluestreak were all present in the roadblock Kup made in the mountains. It was also rumoured that Gears was on moonbase 2 and Grapple in the autobot city. As I said, it is only 'rumours' Wouldn't Omega Supreme made the battle a lot different if he was present in the siege of autobot city.

And also, which was the last last transformer episode other than RID or G2. Because the only one I remember is 'rebirth' which had the headmasters and targetmasters. Is there any other episodes after that because I'd like to watch it.
