    Yes, I'm talking Nahga - the tall, overbearing, badly-dressed, annoying, laughing, "bouncer" from the Slayers Movies and OVAs...

    There are some mixed opinions about this character, but I wanna know what you think!

    If the powers that be had you in charge, would you have kept her, or dropped her from existence?

    I missed Nahga in the series. She was definately fun to watch!

    She had both redeeming and condemning qualities, I think I'd leave it as is, so you can escape her, or embrace her, or fall somewhere in-between. Personally, I like both the movies and the series, for differing reasons.

    Nagha... oh, wow... I love Nagha... I was really sorry that she wasn't in the TV series. If you've read any of my non-videogame-related posts, then you probably know what a nut I am for GOOD dubs! Well, Nagha's voice was very ably played by Kelly Manison - a voice actress from ADV (Houston). It wasn't just the incredible laugh, but that whole "Hmph!" attitude! Ms. Manison really did an amazing job.

    RrrrrrrrRRROWWRRR!!!!

    Sorry, can't think about Nagha without doing at least one of those (a la Conan O'Brien!).

    So I definitely vote to keep her. Literally if possible! >8)

    I saw one of the dubbed OVAs (Explosion Array, I think) and yes, Nahga was extremely well handled! Superbly done, and even retaining the laugh in full glory! In fact, the dub was actually pretty good!

    I would have liked to see her in the series. It might have helped clear the haze of rumors about her past. Also, I would have liked to see how she interacted with the rest of the cast. Particularly Zelgadis, I dont see them as mixing too well.

    ._. This is the way I see it...Naga didnt have much of a point to the series. She was funny, and mostly just troublesome. If she was in the 3 main series of Slayers, then I would of screamed O.O. So I think it was fine to just have her in the OVAs and Movies. :D o.o Would that consider dropping her...or keeping her...o.o PROBLEMS.

    I would have dropped the damn freak! that laugh alone drove me over the edge, Baka, you saw Explosion Array, well see the OAV Dragon Slave, you'll scream in TERROR!!!or maaybe it was Explosion array......i cant remember.......

    Nahhh, if you don't like the laugh then just turn the sound down and look! There's nothing annoying about the way Nagha LOOKS!

    Lol has anyyone seen the movie "Draggon Slave", they make multiple copies of Nagha, and the only thing they ever do is eat, sleep, and do that annoying laugh. I cant staand that dumb laugh :anger2:

    Oh yes...the nefarious "Scary Chimera Project" in which mulitple Nagas are cloned....ohmyfreakinggod was that ever funny...

    Naga is comic relief, plus the PERFECT rival for Lina. I mean, sure she's not as potent magically, but she gets to Lina...which makes it good. And her laugh, well, I think it's great. Scary, but great, because y'know...she's a loon. Loon's are funny. Plus, didn't you think she looked adorable sleeping with those little jelly-rocks in the movie? Don't mind that she had to be drunk as a...drunk dude to get that way, but still.

    Or two in slayers case....they already had Gourry, but naga wouldve been a nice touch. And the way she's constantly commenting on Linas...erm, "shortcomings" in her appearance? Shes the perfect rival for lina, and i say keep 'er! =-p

    o my, there is a thread regarding Nagha ~ for the record, she is my favorite anime avatar; beautiful & spirited, but deep within she is a sweetheart - if somewhat misguided...yes, Nahga is a welcomed addition to both the Slayers universe & my life ~ she inspires me.. :sweat2:

    annoying. if not dropped, she should be beaten with balled up socks. (preferably used ones.)
