My favorite pokemon ability actually stems from the first set of games. When you had a Sandslash (an uber-mon in Red/Blue/Green/Yellow), and equipped it with Slash, more than 70% of them turn out to be Critical Hits. Sadly, Sandslashes aren't as strong as they once were.

But, I generally don't use pokemon abilities, since the most useful abilities are USUALLY on pokemon I don't use. Except Zangoose and Gyarados. Zangoose is totally immune to poison, and Gyarados does his cool Intimidate.

Oh, and that supreme pokemon you find in Ruby. The one that casts Sunshine automatically. Put him in the game, and cast away with fire-based attacks, and all of them do an extra 20% damage!

Neat little fact about the Zangoose: You can actually equip them with every single super-blast for every element. My Zangoose had Fireblast, Thunderbolt, Slash, and Rock Crush. ROFL.

 

hmm any ideas who I should give dive to? I may give it to Marill. I hate the thing Marill evolves into. its this stupid looking bunny thing.. I thought Marill was a mouse.. anyways trying to get to the next city after the psycho trainers (yes they were psycho not psychic) there's a waterfall in the way, so I must need to dive to get there?
