Is anyone else in love with this show as much as I am? I picked up the first series on a half-whim (A friend of mine said it was hilarious), and I couldn't stop laughing. My dad, who works at IBM, said it's scary how well they captured the monotony of an office. To heck with Dilbert, The Office is my new favorite workplace comedy. :)

Has anyone else had the pleasure of seeing this show?

Unfortunatly i had the displeasure of watching it... it has some moments but generally crap, just not my cup of tea, so to speak.

    ***Tidbit***

Mr ricky gervase(sp?) & Ali G both used to be on the same show before hitting the true lime light... ah the 11 o'clock show... so funny & Daisy donovan... *Drools*

I loved the Office but i wish it had been a little more light-hearted. Whenever David Brent went on one of his "saying the wrong thing" rampages I was cringing with embarassment and yelling "SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!!!" You just know something awful will happen to him >_<...

I don't need to watch the office. I work there each and every day. :)

yeah i 've seen it all. though i prefer dilbert. the second series was pretty excruciating to watch, but it's definetly got it's moments.
garath's stapler in the jello is the all time classic moment. >_<.
either that or david brent's singing and guitar playing. ^^.

    stapler in jello...

the show is ok..one day, i'll fight myself into watching the rest of it(i broke at ep. 3) as well, i wanna see it, just because i hate bretn so damn much...he annoys me as even though i don't work in an office situation, that's kinda how my manager is...as in, should have been fired long ago...

I agree, by the end I was so glad that David Brent got what he deserved (I won't say anymore, as I don't want to spoil it for anyone).

My favorite is Tim. I know a guy like that, but in high school and now college. He just slaves away doing work that he hates and getting a degree in a major that doesn't interest him. He's not as funny as Tim, though. :)
