Inu-Yasha The other side of Sesshoumaru?

Okay, it common in the anime to see Sesshoumaru in his calm mode and arrogant nature, he rarely smiles...besides smirking, which is not really a nice smile. I want to see another side of Sesshoumaru. I've stumled accross an animated gif of him LAUGHING! I was totally shocked! In which episode did he laugh so openinly... oh and I saw somewhere on the net a manga page where Sesshoumaru was trying out Kagomes Pocky... So is there really another side to sesshoumaru? Is it possible that he's not so arrogant as we all thought he was...

 

I once saw him really pissed once. He looked kinda like Inuyasha. But thats all I've seen.

 

I have since hiim pissed of once or twice too. Except he looked like he was going to blow a fuse.

 

I've only ever seen Sesshomaru pissed, slightly mad or showing no emotion. It's like he thinks his face will crack if he even smiles. He does seem to soften up a bit around Rin though. If you find out when he laughs or even smiles let me know, please.

 

I think i've seen him smile once actually I can't remember when though.....but it wasn't a smirk he seems to be a pretty calm guy. But I do belive he has a nice side it's pretty rare to see it though.

 

I know...sometimes I just wish he would get mad...get upset...get ANYTHING! LOL. But there was this one time that I thought I saw a bit of exasperation in him...

In episode 165...(spoiler)
when Kagura has been injured and is flying around looking for Sesshomaru. She falls into a river and Sesshomaru is ready to just leave her there. Rin starts wading into the river but can't handle the strong current. Jaken wades in after her and the three of them get swept away. Sesshomaru is left standing there looking at them. And I swear....you can almost see the look of annoyance/disgust on his face. LOL.

 

I think I've seen him smile once. Not really a full-blown smile, obviously, but not a smirk. Just a subtle smile.
I've seen him afraid, too, when Inuyasha transforms in the Tokijin incident. He even admits to it. (pretty bold for a guy like him)

I like his emotionless...ness, because whenever he DOES make a face that implies that he's feeling something besides...absolutely nothing.. then it just makes the mood more sentimental. Because someone made SESSHOUMARU feel something. Thats a big deal.

 

::grin:: Just so you know, that Sessh laughing animated gif is (quite obviously, honestly) fanart. The Sessh-eating-Pocky picture probably is too (most likely doujinshi). There are a lot of artists out there who can do Rumiko Takahashi's style pretty darn well. Druihd of DeviantART comes to mind....

I agree with the sentiment that Sessh's face would crack if he so much as smiled. ^_^

 

Well, yeah.
I don't think I'd want him to smile anyway, it'd totally blow his character to bits, and he's my favey on the whole show, so that'd just suck for me.
