Creative Writing The Real World -Ganymede

If you've ever seen the show, "The Real World",then you'd know that it's about a bunch of teenagers living in a house together.Well,here's my version using the Cowboy Bebop characters.Sorry,if it's kinda long........

The Real World: Ganymede

This is the true story of 7 cowboys picked to live in an apartment on Ganymede.
To have their lives taped. See what happens when people stop being polite,and start being real.

The Cast:
Spike-
Hobbies:sleeping,eating,playing cards,cleaning his guns,watching Oprah and calling in with questions.
Embarassing Secret:Recieves illegal cable through his fake eye.

Jet-
Hobbies:smoking,drinking,cooking,playing computer games,lighting random items on fire.
Embarassing Secret:Listens to Celine Dion while crying himself to sleep.

Faye-
Hobbies:shooting things,gambling,looking sexy,eating cookies,throwing things at Spike.
Embarassing Secret:She’s in the Gilbert Godfrey Fan Club.

Ed-
Hobbies:Sputtering sentence fragments,playing with Ein,walking on her hands,hacking important documents.
Embarassing Secret:Can’t find the “CTRL” key.

Ein-
Hobbies:barking,eating,growling,running.
Embarassing Secret:Enjoys vomiting.

Vicious-
Hobbies:eating children,slicing things with his sword,doing drugs,tying cats tails together and throwing them over clothes lines.
Embarasing Secret:Wishes he was a woman.


Julia-
Hobbies:looking mysterious,driving,being dramatic,sexual relations with Spike.
Embarassing Secret:Thinks Ein looks delicious.

Day 1-Monday

9:30 AM

Our crew wakes up almost simultaneously to the smell of burning hair. Jet runs through the living room screaming at the top of his lungs with his back hair ablaze.Vicious screams like a sissy,then throws his cape over him.

9:53 AM

Jet takes some time to rest after his “ordeal”.Spike’s still asleep.A snot bubble the size of Virginia is hanging out of his nose.The first thing Ed does in the morning is impersonate the rug in the living room.

10:12 AM

Faye lights the candles next to her Gilbert Godfrey shrine.She notices the camera,blushes,then blurts several swear words and storms off.Meanwhile,Ed dress up a bananna in a cute pink dress and has a tea party with it.

11:00 AM

We catch Jet looking at pornography on his computer. “Can’t a guy get some privacy?”he asks.Faye decides it’s never too early to get wasted.She’s somehow smuggled some malt liquor into the house,which we quickly confiscated.Ein sits in the middle of the floor all morning,promptly vomits,then proceeds to lick it up.

12:00 PM

Spike finally wakes up.Vicious glares at him,then continues reading his copy of “Women’s Fitness Weekly”.Ed presents a game board and yells, “Who wants to play Scrabble?!”the crew starts to play happily.

The game becomes boring very quickly.Vicious can only seem to spell “kill” and “gore”,and he keeps getting “tripple word score”.Spike ingests an “n” and starts to choke.Julia gives him the Heimlich manuever,and the game continues.

1:15 PM

After Scrabble,we explain that the crew must work together to run a coffee shop.They all whine and moan. “What the hell!?I better be getting paid for this!”Faye shouts.Ed runs through dressed like a Canadian Trout and yells, “Coffee,coffee!Buzz buzz!”

1:46 PM

Everyone gets ready to go to work.Except for Spike,who seems to have fallen asleep.Jet kicks him upside his head,causing him to wake up. “What the f***!?”Spike yells. “I was just resting my eyes!”We walk in on Julia basting Ein with country gravy in a turkey pan.Once she sees the cameras,her eyes get wide and she insists she was only joking.She backs out of the kitchen nervously.Ed and Ein spend the rest of the afternoon licking the gravy up.

2:08 PM

The job starts.Faye starts to pour some coffee,but her cigarette falls into the cup.She looks around to see if anyone saw her,then picks it out and continues.Jet is flirting on the job.He gets a few phone numbers,then trips over Vicious’ cape and flies head first into a cart of steaming java.

3:12 PM

The stress of the job is getting to Vicious.In a rage,he decapitates Frank,our cameraman.He was heard yelling, “I HATE EVERYTHING!!!!!!”(our condolances to Frank’s family).Spike’s been on break for an hour and a half.We go check on him and find him and Julia in the middle of “the act”.Spike puts his pants on,then swiftly destroys 1 of our cameras.

5:34 PM

Our crew returns home.Jet's face is wrapped up after recieving 3rd degree burns.Ed and Ein are nearly finished licking up the gravy.Spike turns on the T.V. and plops down on the couch.

6:00 PM

Ed interviews the house’s blender.Surprisingly,after a half an hour,she comes up with 3 pages of questions and answers.After an hour of trying to see her forehead,Julia gives up and makes herself a cheese sandwich.She mumbles, “Damn forehead.”Faye gets bored,picks up the nearest arabian vase,and chucks it at Spike’s head.It collides with his cranium and shatters into thousands of pieces.She laughs maniacally and goes out to have a smoke.

6:34 PM

Spike wakes up after the whole vase “incedent”.He wonders why he’s covered in blood.He plucks a few shards of glass from his head and goes back to sleep.

7:30 PM

We accidentally walk in on Vicious wearing a stunning blue lacy number.He starts to chase us,but realizes he’s dressed like a woman.

8:23 PM

After our staff shot Vicious with a tranquilizer and snapped a few photos,we were ready for dinner.Jet was preparing Spaghetti and Meatballs.The meal was delayed,however,because Ed was bathing in the tomato sauce.



9:00 PM

After Ed get’s cleaned up,the meal begins.Spike devours his share like a starving mountain goat.Making snarling and growling noises as he eats.He picks the occasional glass piece from his skull.Julia stares at Ein,wishing she was eating him instead.Ed smears the meatballs all over her face and laughs at the blood pouring out of Spike’s head..

Confessionals:

Spike:I’m really tired.......and my head hurts.Turn the damn camera off.

Jet:Vicious and his damn cape.That coffee was really hot.......

Faye:I gotta get outta here!HELP!!!!!!!

Ed:Edward loves it here!So many nice things to talk to!

Ein:Woof!

Vicious: (Vicious was not able to comment-still passed out).

Julia:I must eat that freakin’ dog!He....looks..so delicious.

11:32 PM

The crew decides to call it a day.Spike eventually passes out due to his injuries.Vicious isn’t due to wake up for another 4 hours.Ed fell asleep in the oven.

I'm going to post some of the pictures I drew to go along with the story.Apparently no one has seen this yet,and/or don't care enough to reply,but I'll post the pictures anyway.

I care! I found it amusing! BC, I've just seen this thread. Stop being so impatient, the writing forum isn't always the quickest one. ^^ I liked the profiles, they're funny. Very similar to a reality tv show. Well, minus the exaggeration to make it funny. But, yes, very good. U kept everyone in character very well. Lets see those drawings.

 

hey i thought your story was the best..i even made a print of it so i can read it sometime and there..plz come out with the pictures i ould want too see it...when did you come up with this idea????

 

Okay.You 2 have inspired me to finish the drawings.I will try to post them and the second "day" of the show.

 

knwo i dont have to worry about if your not going to do them anymore..thankz for going back to work on the real world --it was awsome i think you should of added that spike liek to stand in the rain...lol....
