RPG Archives The Seven Towers: In Game

Deep in the darkest forest in the land of Asseria, the first of the seven towers lay. Sarian looked into the red light at the top of the tower. "The Red Tower. The first tower." He said. "I know, that I have help. Help from freinds. I just hope that they come." The light at the top of the tower dimmed. "Verrok. He has found the tower." Sarian said. "I just hope we are not to late."

 

Katsuke had recieved his new friend's call to destroy the Seven Towers. He, however, chose to take his own sweet time to arrive. He had reached a hilltop where in the first Tower spread into view. "......crap. This is getting worse than i thought" he mumbled. As he reached the top, he saw Sarian waiting and so he only walked towards him, no matter the distance. "Well he seems in a particularly fine mood..." he said to himself.

 

Sarian noticed Katsuke behind him, but did not face him. "So nice of you to join me. Where are the others? We need to destroy the Tower before Verrok does." He turned and pulled out his sword. "We will destroy Verrok." He turned and faced the Tower and sighed.

 

Out in the distance, not too far from the two men, a giant lumbering creature could be seen. It got closer and close until the gigantic Iron Giant monster stood next to the two men. "I hope Iam not late. Genai, at your service," said the steel behemoth in a weary voice.

 

"It is good to see you again, Gensai." Sarian smiled. He turned facing Katsune and Gensai. "Where are the others!? If they don't arrive soon, Verrok will find this place before we have a chance to disarm it. You see, my ancestor, Serra, placed the towers to lock away evil. In order to make sure Verrok cannot unlock the evil, we must disarm the tower from the inside, but there is bound to be defence to try to halt us, so Verrok can destroy the tower. But if we disarm the tower, Verrok will not be able to destroy the tower." Sarian said. He sat back dawn and sighed. "Disarming the tower will immobilize it, but we must disarm all Seven Towers in order to reach the temple where the evil is being held. But if Verrok can disarm one of the towers, he can unlock the evil."


*By the way, I am going to role play Sarian and Verrok*

 

The 18 year old element user had been traveling for a few days to reach the group. She'd been living a far distance from them, and had actually been watching over the area of another tower.

Where Katsuke had taken his time to get there, Ria had wasted no time. But she still ended up reaching the location after him(though she didn't know him ), and from what she could tell upon getting closer, an Iron Giant stood there also.

In the metal giants shadow, she could just see the boy, two years younger then her, but still taller then her, standing there, talking with the pair. Even as the dark haired girl drew closer, she slowed, still a few feet away from the group, frowning faintly.

She'd forgotten once she heard about him needing their help that he was only 16, where she was at her 18 winters(still means birthday, just in another wording).

Ria herself had met Sarian from word of mouth and only in passing. She'd never taken time to speak to him. But now she'd have time. Even as she drew closer it was easy to tell she was wearing a broad hood, whos shadow, covered her own face. Her hands were shoved deep into pants pockets, body fully hidden in the dark clothing, though there was a flicker of her silver shirt through an open top of the large tunic she wore.

She didn't glance to either of the others as she continued her stride toward the group, coming to a stop a few steps, directly infront of Sarian himself. As though to show she ment no attack, hidden as she was, she slowly drew tanned hands from her pockets, lifting them to grasp the edge of the hood, pulling it back and off her face, dropping over her back to reveal a girl with long green hair and cloudy gray eyes.

A small smirk quirked her lips as she cocked her head slightly to one side,"Sarian. Good to see you again."

It was all she said, still watching him, never even giving the other two a glance.

 

(when i put a * and then a name, i am roleplaying that person. I will ropleplay Verrok and Sarian.)

*Sarian*

"Hello, Ria. I don't know where the others are, but we are going in anyway. Come on." He got up from the ground and opend the door to the tower. In front of him, a giant ogre blocked the corridor. It smacked him out of the way. Sarian gasped. "Guys, a little help would help!!" He got up, drew his katana and charged at the beast.

 

Ria was at his heels in moments after he fell and rose again to charge the ogre. Her own katana, a green handle and a deep grey blade slid out of the sheath at her side.

Even as she swung the katana out stretched, then backwards as she held it with one hand, she raised her free, hand, an unseen aura swirling around her as she invoked her elemental powers. In short time she held a ball of fire even as she slid at Sarians side, hefting the glowing ball and threw it.
It was a little trick she'd picked up and even as the ball flew in the ogres face, even if the ogre wasn't hit, the fire ball seemed to 'explode' into a bright light, ment to blind the opponent for a moment.

Ria took the chance, waving sharply to Sarian before grasping her katana blade with both hands and slashed at the creature once she was within reach of the momentarily blind ogre who stumbled around.

 

"Ogres?" mumbled Katsuke. He made a quick run for the creature before it died and arm of in the beast. He then uttered some words and removed his hand. "Hehe, are we done here!?" he said, showing no regard for the foul creature they were facing.

 

*Sarian*

"We are done." He said. He walked inside. As far as he could see, there was nothing but white corridors. Walking farther he noticed a stairway. "Lets go." He said. He started to climb up the stairs. He opened the door at the top and in the room, five of Verrok's sorcerers were waiting for them. "Figures." He said. He put forward a hand and said one simple word. "RAGNAROK!" His hand errupted in a barrage of white beams, striking down two of the magic weilders.

 

With some quick elemental work as Ria stepped in close behind Sarian, her magic took out another sorcerer. All she'd thrown was a glowing ball, but mixed into the ball had been all the elements she could control, forcing them to work together in one woven ball. After all, the fire could have melted the ice, and turned the ice and water into fog but she made sure it didn't. It acted like mainly an ice ball with a fire core.

The fire, once the ball hit its mark, erupted, blinding others even as it burned the one it hit. Ria watched, satisfied. Her brother would be proud. He'd taught her how to control the elements into such a mix to use to blind an opponent, as she'd done to the ogre.

Her job done, she left the last two of the sorcerers to the next part of her group, not wanting to use up all her magic to early on, resting the point of her katana on the ground, leaning slightly on it, ready to defend if the need came.

 

Genai brough out his orange hilt...purple energies overflowed to the hilt and the hilt became a grim looking dark purple hilt. Then a long and heavy blade errupted from the hilt. It had a gothic appearance and was different shades of purple. It has became the Mage Masher, slayer of all magic folk.

He got into the Magus Morte fighting stance taught to him by the Holy Archmage Vulchrus.As he began to charge at the two remaining foes, they put up a magic barried. But alas it was all in vain, as the blade could cut through all magics, good or bad.

He aimed for one, but since they were so close together, and since he and his blade were so elephantine, he sliced them both. One's head rolled off the body, and the other has half his head sliced clean off from his eye to the back of his head.

Upon looking at the grim sight, his blade returned to is normal state, and he immedeately felt a pain inside his heart. The pain of taking a life.

 

*Sarian*

"Thanks, Gensai. I atold you guys there would be resistance." He continued down the length of the room and opened the door at the end. The room was filled with a purple aura. In it, floated images of things happening. "Theese are broken dreams. The dreams of dead people." Sarian said. He continued across the room, but upon touching the door at the end, the spirits all turned toward the group. "YOU DARE DISTURB OUR DOMAIN!?" One screamed. "YOU WILL PERISH!!" The spirits screamed and drew swords and axes. The main spirit yelled and the rest charged. "Uh oh." Sarian said. "Zanseture!!" He screamed. A white barrage of beams flew through the ranks of spirits, leaving a path of destroyed dreams. "Way to many to fight alone. We must work together!" Sarian said.

 

Katsuke ignored the new spirit beasts and aimed for the Mage. He ran towards its with total disregard for Sarian. Quickly he struck the mage in the leg to tear his concentration. However there was no effect. "Hmm...maybe they're self existent" He turned to the mage and pulled his gun out. He looked at him and said "death is part of life and we all must live through it". He fired the shot with his eyes closed and waited calmly. He opened his eyes to see what effect the shot had taken on the beasts....
