Video Games The Ultimate Anime Crossover!

    CAPCOM has put together some very entertaining 2D Arcade fighters based on pitting various teams and sets against one another...making some of my favorite fighting games.

    They've had the likes of X-Men Vs Street Fighter, Marvel Vs CAPCOM, and CAPCOM VS SNK...

    Now here's a cool thought I had. What if CAPCOM put together a fighter in that styling, but with Anime? You'd have a set of playable characters from many different worlds pitted against each other in many sweet fights and backdrops...

    Here's where the thread gets feedback...I think. What anime characters would be must haves in such a game, and why would you like playing those particular characters? What speciality moves and combos would you include? And just as importantly, are there any particular fighting locations you think would be great for the game?

    *drool*...that game would be sweet....

    Here goes, knowing me (Which is, none of you) my first choice (well two actually) Baiko and Tamasaburo, and that guy from Blue Seed, Kushinada (Well something like that)
    I don't know much combos because on Marvel vs Capcom, you can basically do a aircombo with every character. Super moves, well Baiko would do a move resembling Captain Commado supr move with her sword, Tamasaburo would do one of those it either hits ot nothing happen moves with Mr. Prickly, and that guy from Blue Seed, I don't know.

    As for location
    how about:
    Japoness Castle
    Tokyo
    BMS' House?

    I'll write more when it comes to my mind.

    I'm thinking that for characters there should be:

    Spike - Cowboy Bebop

    Motoko - Love Hina (umm...I forget what her succession technique was again)

    Sano (w/ a hidden version Zanza w/ Sword) - Rurouni Kenshin (Futae No Kiwami!)

    Haruka - FLCL (yeah, she'd have weird animation)

    Saitoh - Kenshin (Gatotsu Zero Stance!)

    Sailor Moon - Sailor Moon (well, she'd have to be in there for the sake of classics)

    Lina - Slayers (Can you imagine blasting close range Dragon Slaves...cooool)

    Ryoko - Tenchi Muyo! (Explosions or power swords...and flying)


    And for locales:

    The Bebop Living Room (with Ed and Ein doing stuff in teh background...Faye sleeping or something)

    The Secret Headquarters of Across

    Hot Springs (There's GOTTA be hot springs)


    Course, I could go on endlessly....that game would rock!

    Hmm, I'd have to say Lime from SMJ.
    Also, Tetsuo from Akira, that could be cool,
    Vash from Trigun, that'd be funny,
    Any of the Evas, because mechas in beat em ups are cool,
    Kei from Gravitation, gun combos galore,
    Motoko, like you already said, and finaly,
    Dejiko. I'm not going to explain that.
    For locations, how about;
    Tokyo tower, at some point during the fight, it'd have to be destroyed,
    Gamers store, seemingly the most common shop in japan,
    Olympic stadium from akira,
    Northern Crater from FFVII, for the 2nd round, it could start floating and going all wierd, and for the 3rd it could all go black. Oooo.

    Yu Yu Hakusho: Yusuke (Spirit Gun Blast Special), Kurama (Rose Whip Barrage special), Heie, (MultiSlash Assault), Botan (Home Run Swing), Kuwabara (Spirit Sword Blitz)

    Pilot Candidate: Zero Enna (EX Overdrive, Ingrid Backup special)

    Kenshin: Kenshin (Dragon Star Gem), Zanza (Martial arts flurry thingy that he did in an OVA (How's THAT for vague?))

    Gen-Ki's Dark Chamber (how fun would that be? fighting blind?)

    I'd prefer an anime game with mechs from various series. Depends on your taste really but I think that'd be much cooler.

    Re-inact the battle between the YF-19 and YF-21 in the test city at New Edwards.
    Have a showdown between the VF-1S and an RX-78-2.

    There are so many great mechs you could have and masses of different areas to battle in.

    EVA, Patlabor, Macross, Gundam, Mazinger, Nadesico, Dangaioh, there are so many mechs which could be used.

    I know Capcom already brought out Tech Romancer but that suked ***.

    the one from FLCL is Haruko. Haruka is in Love hina, and elsewhere I'm sure.

    yeah, Haruko would be good, special moves with the Rickenbacker and all, swinging, shooting

    Can't believe no one has mentioned Ranma and Ryouga. Ryouga vs Sano, Ranma vs Kenshin.. I have heard those debated too often on IRC.. would be nice to let people settle them themselves :)

    Excel, why not? Ep 23 has her kicking some butt.

    Baiko and Tamasaburou, good :)

    plenty of material to make such a game from, perhaps too much!

    Ouh...I don't have time to really post much now, and I could go on forever about this, so I'm going to take more time to think about this. For the ideas already up...SW337! Of course there has to be Ranma & Ryoga. But we should separate the games into sections, coz or else the possibilities are endless!

    If Ranma and Ryouga are in it, then you'd have to include the entire cast! I mean, MARTIAL ARTISTS! Well, no, you could add Akane for the sake of the "love" triangle. Both Ranmas (-kun and -chan) both Ryougas (-kun and -chan *snigger*, y'know, like them awesome Servebots in MvC2?) and Akane. Oh, and if you *need* animation examples, play the Ranma 1/2 Super Famicom games. They even have Akane's almost-famous "Handbag to LEO Smash!"

    Add the Knight Saber member, Priss Asagiri. I think that the one from the original would be better, since at the end she had both the laser and the mine-gauntlet-thingys. The 2040 version would be sort of like the "Weapon X" Wolverine, stronger but everything is close-range.

    Locations? Jusenkyo!!! (Muahaha, if you lose, you turn into something), Ryu's Stage (from Street Figther 2) but it's shown on a screen with many Otaku's lying about.

    FY characters!
    Let Tamahome, Tasuki... ok let all the Susaku warriors be playable characters and Miaka and Yui be the hidden ones :D:sweat:

    No irritating characters. just cute bishonen...

    We gotta have atleast one DBZ character in there. Like Vejita or something. I think Aoshi from Rurouni Kenshin would be a necessity. Seeing Duo from Gundam Wing would be groovy. D (Vampire Hunter D) would be sweet. Lucifer, Beliel/Mad Hatter, Alexiel and I could go on with chars from Angel Sanctuary. Larva I believe his name is, from Vampire Princess Miyu. Meier Link, actually, from Vampire Hunter D: Blood Lust would be sweet. Shijima (Ninja Scroll). All I can think of at the moment.

    Ranma and DBZ already have loads of their own games so I don't think there's much point in including any fighter from those series.

    Yeah, so bring on Duo and the GW boys! Duo needs to be in the game, and also let's not forget Hamtaro!

    Kidding! We need Duo. We also need the people from Rurouni Kenshin and so that we have somebody to bash: Sailor Moon.

    Also we need Inu-yasha.

    I could just picture Yasha and Wufei winning on the same team...

    oh, I don't know if this was already said, but Narusegawa and Motoko would be good characters too. Su could also play, but as Tronne Bonne.

    Err...imagine Haruka and Seta as a few of the end bosses...*shudder*

    er, that's partly the point. we're talking about crossovers. In those games, ranma character fight other Ranma characters, but not Kenshin characters.

    see the first post in the thread -
    Most of them already had their own games, that just made their inclusion in the crossover games cooler

    me being the 4th place of best of the west coast in MvsC 2...
    super long combos is a plus....
    THE GAME NEEDS annoying characters like DAN from SF fame
    for that I crown either Hanagata or James from Team Rocket...
    Magneto LOL... is magneto is not their I don't like ^_^;;;
    Heavy Metal soundtrack... not the bubble gum POP in MvsC2
