And then we remember one thing about Gamespot = Most of the reviewers are total morons. I don't want to sound mean, they just are. Never tried the game btw.

Eh, I'm pretty sure every company that rated it gave it at least close to their worst score. Did you watch the video review?

Well. Regarding gamespot being one of the moron reviewers...well, doesn't that make everyone morons too? You have your own views, and you stick with them. Samething goes to the reviewers of gamespot.

For example: I loathe Halo. And I won't change the ways of writing an own review of why I didn't enjoy the game. And yes, I stick with it.

It's all about respecting other people views on things. You probably can't agree with the reviewers, but you have to respect their view on the game.

Second: The game does look awful, but I surely seen worse. *coughs* The crow, 911 fire rescue, survivor: the game *coughs*

It's kind of like Smuggler's Run, but with no game physics whatsoever. I laughed right after he went towards the bridge, but there really was no bridge there. That video was hillarious, thanks for sharing!

ya thanks for sharing, my firefox would conk out and need to be closed when it was loading, so I went to IE, half way through same problem but I got to the part where the guy ran out of the building.

Anyways for those hwo can't view the clip, The guy is in controlling this horrible looking truck, and the truck would spin around and dissapear. When you think the truck would hit the corner of a building, it would go right through it, it went through a whole town's buildings that way. Thent he truck went up a whole mountain range.. sure.. haha. Then it went into the sky and got screwed up up there..

There's always a difference really. For instance:

    Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory
Official X-Box Magazine: 9.9-Highest Score Achieved ever, beating Halo 2's 9.7
    PlayStation Magazine: 5.0-Highest Score Possible
    GameSpot: 8.5

Why would PS2 and X-Box Magazines call it a really great game, and GS call it an "allright" game?

I'm guessing that ratings come from one's taste in games.

Nevertheless, that game must be the worst ever, because it definetly looks it.

Here's a little map of the scale they use. If you wanna see how they rate games, click here.

    1-1.9 Abysmal
    2-2.9 Terrible
    3-3.9 Bad
    4-4.9 Poor
    5-5.9 Mediocre
6-6.9 Fair This would probably be closest to "allright".
    7-7.9 Good
    8-8.9 Great
    9-9.9 Superb
    10 Perfect

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory falls into the great category. It's probably lower than it should be but not by much.

I remember reading somewhere they some dude remembered reading that the reason that the game was released when it was so bad was because an early test version somehow got sent to the main company where they put the games on discs. By the time they realized it was a test version that they had put on the discs, the game was already in stores and being bought. I also remember seeing something about the game got completed at one point or another, but because of all the bad talked by the mistake they just stopped the project.

Here is the website of the makers of the game. You'll notice that when you click on the games tab to see their list of games, the url changes but no games show up.

There's a conspiracy going around or something. I wanted to send them a message in the support area and see what they would say. This is what I was gonna send.

But for some reason, when I press the send button an error comes up and it can't get sent. Something's fishy around here......
