Art third cg of life c&c please i need help big time

weeeell, lets just say my first two cgs were crappy as well as the lineart due to the fact bc they were kinda rushed....this wasnt exactly my strongest lineart or whatever but it got the cute factor i was going for hehe....i know its not good but i m hoping someone can give me some tips to help me get better...(im dreaming of being a pro manga artist someday) i know i got along way to go but hey i have a few years of practice...andi m a fast learner so its wiggy...but anyways hope you all enjoy and sayanara hehe p.s. pleeeeeease comment and critique ^_^

 

It's not crappy at all. The characters look good, with nothing really wrong. The way I CG is I keep a lot of the original pencil drawing (unlike most people who re-trace the drawing onto a new layer), so I'm not someone who could recognize good or bad lineart that well. Besidess, the coloring is well done. If anything, I'd say that the girl's upper arm is just too skinny (unless it's purposely part of your personal style). It's interesting that you combined cell-shading with gradient/chiaroscura style coloring/shading (which I see on her arm). The girl's clothing is cute too. When did you draw this?

i drew it yesterday to be exact...i dunno i think the arm was an accident....i m still learning and somewhere during the color i messed up and colored over some of the lines..oh well....i used photoshop....i really wanted a simple style, like straight out of a cell or something...but with all the art out there and everything i wanted to compete....oh well hopefully ill get better and be good enough one day to turn pro(in japan i hope ^_^) but until then ill just keep drawing everyday and hopefully become awesome...but thanks for thinking its a good pic.....maybe im just really picky i dunno....oh well....sayanara ^_^
