Why do so many people give their characters one blue and one green eye? Is it supposed to symbolize something? Can someone explain this to me?

No body knows... Well I don't.... People don't normally have two different color eyes... unless they have funny contacts or something. Animals I have seen it occur in... dogs (particularly huskies), cats, horses... and that's all I can think of.... The most normal color pairing is... Brown and blue, although I think you might see gold and blue in cats. Perhaps the people have their characters this way because when you look at an animal with two different eye colors... it stands out. They just think it will automatically make their characters cool or something.

Oh yeah... in stories... characters with odd eyes tend to have something else special... usually connected to the eye. I remember reading this story where the main character could see ghosts with one eye, the other was normal. He was a cornish rex show cat that had one blue eye and one gold...
