    Thats a good question. I was at a website that had all off the eps they were in listed. If I can remember it I will post it.

    Now here's a good question... How do those old men turn up everywhere?

    Have you ever had the inclination that they may informants or spies for the syndicate or maybe the police force (I forget the acronym right now for some reason) ?

    Or is it all an honest coincidence?

    I think its a joke.. Most time you just see them on mars.. But that one ep with the chess master they floated by Man it was Halerious!

    i saw them in the first ep alriht.. and i remember wondering how in the smeg they got to the two bars that er.. whats his name was in so quickly

    i haven't noticed them in any other eps though.. I really oughta pay more attention.

    I have no idea what their purpose in Bebop is... well they have worked on the gates in the past, but they may have another realon for being shown as imagery, but what imagery or purpose... Maybe they'll have a spinoff about the old dudes ;)


    Oh and maybe they can teleport from place to place because they got close to some weird glowing green stuff while working on the gates...

    i think they might be just for a running joke, or it's an inside joke, but done so it's funny to everyone. just not fully understood. or "they could represent the wisdom of age, there to give it's opnion whenever spike tries to go home for anything. like a pestering parent." lol or not

    They kind of remind me of the old guys in Love Hina, now that I think of it....but less funny.

    Well i think in the first ep they were turnup farmers or something.. then one ep they built the satr gates and then they were mushroom farmers.. So on And so forth.. But How Can you miss them..

    i love the old guys!! quite a nice touch of randomness in the series... i think theyre there just for a kind of comic release...know what i mean? yeah they could be in there just to cause people to think "i wonder why they are always around..."

    I love those guys, they so weird! Maybe they are just there to add to the irony and the other subtle hints in the series. *shrugs* I dunno...maybe I'm just stupid..... :shy3:
