  1. Pick a Tomita album
I recommend Daphne Et Chloe because I just listened to it but any album by
    him will do fine.

Invite a friend or loved one if you like.

Alcohol or other intoxicants of your choice allowed but not required.

No cell phones, computers, video games, answering machines, or pagers
allowed...we didn't have any of that. Turn off any other possible
    distractions like your TV.

Go to the room where your best sound system is.

Spread the speakers as far apart as you can in the room.

set the volume as loud as you can without making you incomfortable or
    distorting the sound.

Sit or lie comfortably between the stereo speakers.

Play the entire album from start to finish with no interruptions and no
talking in COMPLETE darkness, no lights whatsoever....

    wasn't that great?

  2. Amazing, thats exactly what I used to over 20 years ago when I first got
Tomita's Pictures at an Exhibition (on Vinyl then), and Firebird.
I'd lie on my bedroom floor, with my head on a pillow between the speakers
    and drift off...
Its nice to know there are others out there on the same wavelength.
    Thanks Mike for reminding me.

    Regards,
    Lance

  3. My first album was The Planets, but yeah, laying back with a speaker on
each side of the head was the way I immersed myself in it. :) I stumbled
across a radio station playing the entire album one night about 3AM and I
went nuts for the next month trying to find out what the name of it was
and who did it. Been an addict ever since. :)

  4. Friends,

That`s What happened to me when I heard Bermuda Triangle(full non stop),Lots
of Speakers Many sizes and types, just me and no sound or disturbs,it was
amazing!!,I was shock on those days 1980's since then I follow the Master, I
tried that with Walter Carlos and Jean Michel Jarre, and It did not work like
Tomita`s, Is great to see that many of you did the same.

    Regards.
