I’ve just subscribed to the Isao Tomita mailing list. I’ve been collecting
his works since ‘Snowflakes are Dancing’ came out in 1975 and love his
music. What is he doing at the present time? Is he still producing music?

Hi Steve,

Tomita has recently been in the studio, finishing up his latest recording
'The Tale Of Genji'. Please see my other message for more details. It's all
in the archives of this list, and on the web pages we have produced with
the express purpose of answering questions like yours:

Since he's now 68 years old, its obviously taking him longer to produce
work than it used to do in 1970, for example.

I have been promised some news on Tomita-sensei for some time, and this
should hopefully be filtering through from Tokyo soon.
