Tomita's speakers?

Does anyone happen to know what studio speakers Tomita was using during the Firebird years? You can see part of them here:

 

I found on the website it mentions that they are Snell Acoustics, designed by Kevin Voecks. I couldn't find any info or pics on the web that looked like the speakers that on the back cover of Firebird though. In fact, on the Snell Acoustics webpage, it mentions that they didn't start manufacturing speakers until 1977.

 

These speakers appears on a photo on Pictures... also so they are at least from 75'. You also see abit more of them on that cover.

I have for no reason assumed they are Quad speakers - but I have no idea why....

 

Thanks for the reply. I know Quad made electrostatic speakers in the 70s (and possibly later). I wasn't aware of whether or not they made cone based speakers. Sounds like a job for Google...
