Well if everyone else is doing it, I might as well...

10. Bakuretsu Hunters (Sorcerer Hunters) Manga Series – The TV series is the winner of the single two most reused transitional sequences in any anime EVAR!!!! The Manga has a top notch story and an ending to die for. With Leather and Lace thrown into the mix, who can’t resist? I love Tira Misu… :O~

9. Petshop of Horrors - A fascinating little collection of intriguing tales, each with their own moral. Aesop meets Modern Anime, in a strange sort of sense.

8. Vandread/Vandread: Second Stage - Campy at times, but has great use of CG effects in an Animated series; Still fun to watch!!

7. Flame of Recca Manga - MANGA IS ANIME TOO... Just in still frame format... Excellent story, picks up where the series simply drops us. ~Long live Joker.

6. Ah Megami Sama - A classic staple.

5. Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal - Kenshin at his finest. Kenshin at his most dramatic. 'Nuff said.

4. Mahoromatic - Despite the flippy interstellar ending (which came out of nowhere...) it's still a great tale with a heart-wrenching countdown the entire span of the series.

3. SaiKano - The best drama I've ever seen- period. I don't care what anyone else says. XP

2. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - A brilliant series fully living up to the incredibly high standard set by the movie. GO, GO TACHIKOMA!!! XD

1. Saber Marionette - Sentimentally my favorite. Excellent drama, fun animated characters, intriguing plot/premise, and the three best heroines EVAR!!! So there!!


Did anyone else have as hard of a time as I did trying to put an order to their favorites? It’s like trying to pick which of your kids you love more. There are so many more out there that I love, but these ten are a blast to go back and watch/read time and time again. Long live Tira Misu / Pyoro/ Joker/ Tachikoma/ Hana-chan!! XD

 

1. Saber Marionette J and JtoX - the whole package is worth more than the two separate series

2. Full Metal Alchemist

3. Macross / Robotech - this is a classic. But I really don't know if it should go on the top...

4. Neon Genesis Evangelion - altho I insist that the characters and story are all screwed up, it does a great job on displaying the characters' psyche

5. Detective Academy - i skip to children's anime for now... this is a wonderful series.

6. Fruits Basket. Very emotional.

ok i give up here, since i really haven't watched other anime... but from what i've seen, Ghost in the Shell deserves a place in between.
