Recreation Toronto....Lost....

    The...Leafs...lost....the....game.....this....isn't....fair.

    We should have won. We were kicking their *** in OT so badly and they only got 1 shot in. :anger2:


    sorry if this is a stupid thread but I am really pissed off right now and had to say something.

    I'm quite glad they lost. I have nothing against the team, but back when they won the first game, I was vacationing in Toronto, and was kept up til 1 in the morining by people celebrating.

    heh, i'm sad too that the dear Toronto guys lost, but meh. i never really was crazy about the whole thing. yea, i supported them, but i was really getting annoyed from hearing that they're going to win, over and over. If anything about Toronto i'm excited about is the Anime North convention coming up soon...HUZZAH!

    I am actually somewhat happy over them losing. Sure, Sundin & co deserve the Stanely cup, but this is a great advantage for the swedes in the world championships :p.

    Forsberg turned it down, Sundin...let's hope you don't :)

    I found out from my dad in 2 in the morning and she started nudging me and screams "WE LOST THE APOCOLYPSE IS COMING!!! And he started to scream and went out to golf." He only golfs when hes really pissed. im fearing for my life...

    Obviously, you don't watch hockey. The Kings Ubersuck.

    I wasn't at all surprised when the Leafs lost (although I was disappointed). The players had no ability to work together (with the exception of Domi), and they relied too much on a few "power players" carrying the whole game, namely Sundin, Nieuwendyk and Belfour. Seriously, though, it's like they just gave up after they beat Ottawa. They just stopped trying.
    I had to change my desktop wallpaper recently. In honour of the Leafs in the playoffs, I was using a nice official pic of the Canadian flag in blue instead of red. Now it's back to good ol' Santana and Michelle Branch ... stupid Flyers ...

    In closing, I would like to make a list of places which I feel should not have NHL teams as a matter of principle:

    1. Phoenix, Arizona - isn't this the middle of a desert? And why's it the Coyotes instead of the Phoenixes?
    2. Anywhere in Florida
    3. Dallas, Texas - seriously, how many Texans know how to play hockey? Probably less than five.

    And Winnipeg should have a team again ... Winnipeg Penguins all the way!
