Here is a new one for our TRANSFORMERS trivia clan.

In all of Transaformers history, there are many robots to bear the name Optimus and/or Prime. How many are there?

Starcream was his first... incinerating him at the coronatiuon.

If you count Ultra Magnus as well... then he is the second... though he didn't die of course. But technically it wasn't him who killed him it was 'Sweeps'

Question: Name all the casualties in Transformers the movie, including where they died, and how they died... mention absolutely any transformer who was basically 'put out of action' even if it wasn't until th end of the movie.

I re-watched this yesterday and there were a couple more I found out to be among the dead list.

The Lithonian planet - consumed by Unicron

Brawn - Starscream shot him with Megs pistol when they boarded the Autobot shuttle
Prowl - Shot by Scavenger on the autobot shuttle
Ratchet - Shot up by the Constructicons on the Autobot shuttle
Ironhide - Blown to bits by Megs at point blank on the Autobot shuttle

Wheel Jack - Found dead in an alcove in Autobot City on Earth
Windcharger - Found next to Wheel Jack

Optimus Prime - Mortally wounded by Megatron (stake through the mid section, lightsaber slash, shot repeatedly with a pistol), died in Autobot hospitol in Autobot City (later rebuilt)

Starscream - Desintegrated by Galvatron during his own coronation

Ultra Magnus - Shot up by a swarm of Sweeps on the Planet of Junk (later rebuilt)

Kranix - Eaten alive by a pack of Sharkticons on Quintessa

Various robots - Digested by Unicron near the end of the movie

Unicron - Destroyed from the inside by Rodimus Prime opening the Autobot Matrix of Leadership (later rebuilt)

 

On the list of your 'various robots' were Thrust, Dirge and Ramjet after my close inspection on the movie. It is the bit when Unicron attacks Cybertron and the decepticons scramble to fight... during that encounter 3 decepticon planes were crushed in his mouth... I paused on that moment and it looks a lot like those 3 mentiond above.

oh I forgot about the jet brothers. when I said the digested 'bots, I meant the ones being dropped into Unicron's acid vat
