Trigun Trigun coming to Cartoon Network

Yup.


As I mentioned in a thread about Cartoon Network in the anime board,Trigun is coming to CN.It should begin around March or so.It will be on Adult Swim.


This is a good thing,except the episodes will be edited.(not too much though)

CN is getting better all the time,now all they need to do is put Tenchi back.

 

yep they do, but i didn't know they were putting him on CN thanx for the news, and they really do need to put tenchi back on, and sailormoon. but the good thing is trigon coming to town

 

*I have never seen Trigun before but I'm sure it will be great since CN is showing it and they show pritty good shows but I was wondering if eather of you guys could tell me what it is all about ?*

Story:The series follows Vash the Stampede,who people say has destroyed an entire town,because of this he has a bounty on him.(a $$60,000,000,000 bounty)The series starts with him being chased down by some bounty hunters.He eventually meets two insurance agents who are tracking him down also.(but not for the bounty,their job is to make sure he doesnt destroy anything)The first few episodes are seperate stories,however around episode 12,the series real story begins.I wont say what happens though,because thats a spoiler.

The series is 26 episodes long.

I've seen Trigun and it's turning out to be my favourite anime. Mixed with humour (espiecally in the first 10 or so episodes), action, some sadness, coolness of characters and a blend of villains, this is the ultimate western anime.

The show starts off slowly dealing mainly with humour and some action and as Kaneda has already said develops into the meaning of Vash's (main character) motive and attitude in the show as it progresses.

The music is good, the characters are brilliant, the villains are nasty, the guns are flashy...What else can I say...Watch it for yourself and understand what 'Trigun' (three guns) is

ANY editing is too much. What exactly do you think it deserves to lose? I don't know how I feel about Trigun going mainstream. Nice if some sort of royalties filter through to Nightow-sama. Not so nice to hear it being raved about by people who really just don't get it.

 

Trigun?! To CN?!...or is it the "American" CN? :sweat:

Cause i don't think they will broadcast it on the "European" CN

 

By editing I meant they will cut out some of the cursing,nothing other than that.

k yeah definitely agreeing with ya here ive just seen the series (okay so im working on finishing it now )and it is way too good ot go on cartoon network sure i love CN they brought me bebop but its just NOT THE SAME then all the little "anime fans" (you know who i mean) will watch and be like 'oh i love that show blah blah' and they just dont understand really ya know??? i hope that kina makes sense...but yeah i want it to stay with its true fans ......im so selfish gee......

 

I know what you're saying Bunz0r, and I totaly agree. I don't like preople liking stuff like that, when it's not in it's true form.
Like what they did to CCS. It's a bloody travesty.

I saw a commercial on Cartoon Network and they are showing it on Adult Swim. I can't see them editing too much out of it either, since I don't remember seeing anything too horrible that they would cut out in the series, except for maybe a bit of blood (correct me if I'm wrong)

 

I saw the first episode on Cartoon Network.It wasn't hardly edited at all.Except for when the guy said "s***" when Vash held him up was completly cut out.It wasn't too bad.

 

This is the first time I've seen Trigun and I like it.

I wouldn't say it's my Fav. anime, but I wouldn't say it's bad either. Vash looks really cool, he just act's a little goofy. I guess I'm just not used to the main character acting like that. But it's growing on me.

 

I can't wait to hear the english dub of Legato's voice. Trigun is definately a unique series. There's nothing quite like the mix of sillyness and pure evil present in the show's characters.

 

i dunno of any other channel that shows anime..

 

Hmm.. At first I thought you said CNN but I was corrected.. (whew). That would really suck if it was on CNN... I couldn't even imagine that!
