The planet Gunsmoke, a world where the old west, new technology, and heroes meet, have lunch, then blow each other away! Trigun is an awesome series, I have the whole thing on DVD. Early on the comedy elements may deter some, but those who stay with the series are rewarded with some wonderful characters, struggling for their lives and freedoms.
This topic is hereby reserved for purely non-spoiler material. (well, I'll try to keep it that way anyhow)

Anyone seen the Paul Champagne art box for it? What a wonderful piece of art! Nothing like that chibified monstrosity that Pioneer is circulating.

Yes, Yes, you can have your DVDs back. Trigun does look good so far. Comedy doesn't put me off either..

How many discs is the whole series? I'd like to get at least part of it ... if I can afford it after repairing my DVD player and renovating my dungeon.

It's far cheeper to purchase the box set, even if the cover work is a bit.... icky. *sigh* wish I'd done so after getting my DVD player *looks sadly at her tapes*

I think that my favorite part of the whole series was Kuronekosama (that damn cat!:D). But the whole Rem/Vash/Knives thing was pretty interesting.

Rem's episode was by far my favorite. I was sobbing at the end. And I must say, I had a little sympathy for Knives in that episode. I what Stephen did to him (blonde guy on Project Seeds? did I get that name right?) was far more heinous then the anime let on.

Hey, does everyone like my new icon? Hana-ko will be back in awhile. I'm just in a Legato mood lately.
