Trigun Trigun Maximum

Its the sequel to the manga series of Trigun.It doesnt look like there will be a anime series for it....


Do you think it should become a series?


(I dont know why Im making a poll about this in the Trigun board,people who come here like Trigun and probably want to see more....)


I vote.....YES.I would love to see more of Trigun.Animation in anime is getting really good now and it would be nice to see Trigun with the latest animation.

 

Hmm, well, I have the first four scanslated chapters of Trigun Maximum.. and, as far as I can tell, Trigun Maximum is simply the later episodes of the Trigun series...

Like Chapter 1 is when Wolfwood finds Vash in a town under the alias Eriks, and that short little rolly-polly guy is posing as Vash...

And Chapter 4 is when Vash and Wolfwood go aboard the crashed ship to see the old man, and run into Brad and all the people are afraid of Wolfwood and such.

That's as far as I can tell... the later chapters may be newer stuff, but to me, it looks like it's just the later episodes of Trigun. (Sort of a relief, as the original Trigun manga ended on a confusing note and such).

Also, if I'm not mistaken, a lot of the Gung-Ho Guns were still alive at the end of the Trigun manga (Caine, Midvalley, Reihai (or whatever), Chapel) and of course Legato was still there.

yea, maximum was the latter half of the series. the thing was nightow had to change the name to avoid copyright issues, due to the changing of publishers and such. im not sure, no matter how obvious it may be, but i think that maximum was created after the trigun anime...
but i think a sequal to the anime would be cool

also, www.mangaproject.cjb.net has a large collection of scan translations of T + TM up there (up to maximum volume 1, chapter 6)

It's a toughie really. It's not like you could just follow on from the existing anime with the action from later Maximum because the stories deviated so much. What to do about the Wolfwood issue for instance? I suppose they could just remake the whole series from scratch following the manga... And there's not much point in doing it half-arsed.
So there you go. A die-hard Trigun fan who isn't too sure that they want to see more anime, unless it's really done right.

Of course there should be! I didn't even know about the manga though but I hope it turns into an anime that way CN will get it and I can see what happens after the last ep of Trigun! I wanna know! They left it at a BAD place!
