Trigun Trigun...Sequel?

I finished watching all 26 episodes,(atleast I think 26) and might I say, it was great. I was wondering, is there a second season to Trigun? Care to answer anyone?

 

As far as I know, there is no Trigun sequel nor do they intend to make one. The story was long enough to satisfy and be stored away in the happiest part of our brain.

 

There is no sequel to the anime, I don't know if there ever will be, I've not even heard rumours. There are however two manga, the regular Trigun, which pretty much follows the course of the anime, and there's also Trigun Maximum, which differs slightly, and continues on further than the anime(I don't know about the regular Trigun manga though).

 

I thought the Trigun manga ended at the destustion of Agusta and the hole in the moon....and then Maximun started after....but maybe im wrong!! :dizzy2: :glazed:

 

I don't really know either, I haven't read them, I was just going by what I thought I heard.

 

I don't think I've heard of a second season (wouldn't it be cool though?) Btw, Mistral is a cool character ^_^

As much as you are right, Maximum is only for the Manga.

Anime insider mentioned that the sequel, which will apparently be a movie, is in the works. But nothing else other than that.

Ok...for all those that for some reason are shouting about the movie and somehow don't know, here's the quick rundown.

MANGAS:
Trigun Vol.1-2
Trigun Maximum Vol.1-5 (This follows the first Trigun Manga, but doesn't have much more than the anime.)

ANIME:
Trigun Series Ep.1-26
Trigun Movie (Working Title)

Not that hard. The first Trigun Manga's were more of a pilot, but since it went so great, they kept going but renamed to Trigun Maximum. The story is still preety much the same, and like any Manga to Anime difference, there's a bit of extra stuff in the manga.

More like 2007 in Japan. I think it's gonna be sometime around FullMetal Alchemist:Conqueror of Shambala hits theaters into US. However, I'm guessing Trigun's gonna take less only for the sole reason that the company for FullMetal Alchemist wants to wait until the complete series is watched, and on DVD, so fans will understand everything. Since Trigun has been on DVD for several years now, it's expected to get a quicker release. If, of course, Geneon feels like licensing it....

dewd, I thought the movie ws already out......sometihng to do with Doughnuts in the title......

 

"The First Doughnuts" (or was it last?) is the name of the Trigun OST. The first one at least.

Something with the doughnuts yes, but as far I know,m it was a movie also......it shows what happened after Vash took Knives in.

 

Hmm cool, I wish I could see the movie. Oh well I wait for it than.

The best I can tell you about the movie, is this.

Not much to go on, really. Still, I s'pose it means we can look forward to something coming around the end of 2007 or early 2008, and I know I'll be looking forward to it.

 

I am too....yes well its about time they put out FFVII movie. I was waiting for ever for this to come out.
