    I am having a little trouble with my script for some reason it keeps on having a space inbetween it.

    http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher/index.html

    Between the home and news. I want to bring the news up.

    Is there a way to elimate this?

    The code that I have is...

    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
    <title>Basher Website</title>
    <META NAME="description" CONTENT="GOES HERE. ">
    <META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="GOES HERE">
    <META NAME="author" CONTENT="Basher">

    </style><style type="text/css">
    <!--
    body {
    background-color: #000000;
    background-image: url(book.jpg);
    }
    -->
    </style></head>

    <img src="homecopy.png" hspace="350" vspace="100" longdesc="http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher/" />
    <img src="news.png" hspace="350" vspace="0" longdesc="http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher/updates.html" />

    <img src="aboutbasher.png" hspace="170" vspace="5" longdesc="http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher/about.html" />
    <img src="basherworks.png" hspace="170" longdesc="http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher/projects.html" />
    <img src="contactus.png" alt="" hspace="200" longdesc="mailto:www.basher_baka@hotmail.com" />
    <img src="blog.png" hspace="350" vspace="0" longdesc="http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher/blog.html" />
    <img src="guestbook.png" hspace="170" longdesc="http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher/guestbook.html" />
    <img src="gallery.png" hspace="300" longdesc="http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher/gallery.html" />
    <img src="forum.png" hspace="300" longdesc="http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher/forum.html" /><img src="shop.png" hspace="300" longdesc="http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher/shop.html" />
    </body>

    </html>

    inside the body after the main background is set. Bolded.

    But News get's placed somewhere ackward after the home. As you can tell by the vspace. Though all the others are able to line up but their vspace are off also.

    Also with this one it doesn't seam like the links work....

    Help please....

    Also how do I get the full image? NM I reduced it...

    Yes I would.

    I know nothing. I am using a program that does...i don't know. I thought with links is was <A href or something like that. But this is what I get after not using HTML in a year.

    Yep. Like this the best way it can be.

    [IMG]

    I did end up getting something right like actually being able to link it but the placing is hard. Maybe because it is an image...

    If not the words are written in Edwardian Script ITC, 12 mm, i can change the colors. Just want them to go down the middle in this order.

    don't confuse me...

    So would it be better as a table?

    or just words with links?

    I figured images are not important.

    I couldn't help but hear about a problem in html and css :p

    Well, I tried working on the table thingy.. not sure it worked well.. I had to decrease the size of the images and increase the book background; since the images were too big to fit in the book background.. here is what I got:

    it may not be the best solution, but it is a start, so let me know if you have any comments/adjustments :)

    Thats awesome Zanza.

    Move down news a little.

    It looks way better then what I did.

    Thanks.

    Just need to figure out how to put a table on the side. I sort of figured that out.

    No prob! Do you want me to finish it all? i.e. add links to the images? Because to lower the News image down all i need is to insert an extra <br> :p

    You would be a life savor if you did.

    The rest should be simple.

    Links are simple. Me lazy. I could do them if you don't want to.

    home= http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher
    About basher= http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher/about.html
    Basher Works= works.html
    Contact Us= contact.html
    blog= blog.html
    guest book= guest.html
    gallery= gallery.html
    forum= forum.html
    shoppe= shop.html

    For the rest.

    A line going across the second pages top. Enough space at the top like the Table of Contents. Have the word News on the right of the page above the line.

    I'll change as it per page. The font is Edwardian Script. But I can always change it if not available.

    After that a table where i can write in. No background. Nothing special.

    Then Previous News written in a link near the bottom right corner of the second page.

    after that copy info.

    Looks like this.

    http://www.geocities.com/bakabasher/page3.jpg

    Close to that is fine also.

    Thanks a big bunch

    Since not everyone has everyone else's fonts, I doubt that everyone can view the font in Edwardian Script. So I added a second font for those who don't have Edwardian Script, which is Century, with italic decoration.

    Here is what I did so far (sorry for the delay :p):
