Tenchi Muyo TSUNAMI AND WASHU??

    Okay i've been watching as much tenchi as i can and i have been going to th sites.


    Now i understand that Tsunami is only in the OVA. Yet i see on loads of the sites pictures not from the ova. IS she in som of the films? (she aint in 1st one) Or is there scenes with her edited out of toonami version of tenchi.


    Next


    Wha is with some places calling Washu a goddess?? according to some places she aint Ryokos mom but a goddess. I know Tsunami is But i havnt seen much in OVA to say Washu is. (apart from small hint in 13 and the fact lady tokemi wanted to see her)

    STILL CANT WAIT FOR 3rd OVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Sorry 'bout not replying, I could have sworn I did though...

    Tsunami is only in the OVA's, Some of the pictures could be from japanese commercials or just pictures the artist for Tenchi created.

    Some people like Washu so much they probably started some Washu cult...

    From what I've seen
    OVA's - Washu is Ryoko's Mom
    Tenchi Universe - She's a genious that has no relation to Ryoko
    Tenchi in Tokyo - She met up with Ryoko while doing a robbery of sorts...

    Washu I know is over twenty thousand years old in the OVA's, that could be where the confusion came in.

    Ok i got it...


    People think Washu is a goddess because...(takes deep breadth) In the OVA where lady tokemi is introduced theres the shadows of washu and tsunami in the background, the rumour is that they are all goddesses of different kind -Tsunami the kind caring one, Washu the intelligent immature one or something and Tokemi the serious one.

    This is from some tenchi forums i asked around. But most of it is guesswork. But alot is to be answered in the 3rd OVA

    SHe's used alot in fanfics for plot twists etc etc because to ssimply put it theres nothing he cant do [​IMG] [​IMG] yeah she rox...

    Apparently, as explained in the official Tenchi Encyclopedia (included in the DVD premium collectors set), Lady Tokimi, Washu, and Tsunami are all 'Choushin Goddesses'...

    TenchiZone: "Washu was forced into descending to our dimension and had her powers put into the gems. Tsunami descended under her own will."

    (This is interesting to note, with the gems getting passed around so frequently between Tenchi, the sword, and Ryoko...)

    And so, The silhouettes behind Tokimi in ep11 are their shadows in that dimension...

    I know I'm confused...there's so much more I'm hoping the 3rd OVA will explain...
