Current Affairs Tsunami sweeps through South East Asia

    My god... I never realized it was really that bad. I'm honestly amazed (and horrified) that this could happen.

    And, I'm trying to do my part. I serve a number of people every day, (100+ at least) and, with all of them that use the deli's till, I ask if they want to donate to the Red Cross. Unfortunately, rather few take up the offer.

    [EDIT] 800 posts. Seems kind of mean to celebrate it, though, after seeing that kind of destruction.

    Have done a lot of web-surfing on this and found our knowledge of tectonic activity is really quite poor - eg. mysterious "earthquake" lights - no one can agree what they are. No concrete science exists on this - hence the pages entitled "UFO's sighted in tsunami zone!" :(

    If we had only got this science - 150,000 could have been saved!
