i was wondering do you think they will air it in america as a regular cartoon?
or would it be showed in adultswim?

Victor-

We are definitely working on a new series. AND we would love to see it
on CN but it would probably start out on local stations. Have you seen
the new Voltron comic book? It is great and is based off of the
original series. There is also a toy line due out in 3-4 months from
Toynami. Stay tuned to the web site for more info and thanks for

Update pt. 2

From what I have heard so far, the new show may be on the aire by September. The new toy line will also be out around the same time and be interactive with the new show.

Sounds like the BraveStarr toy line back in the late eighties.

Any sign of original series dvds?
Also if it ever gets to Cartoon Network stateside, it'll be months (probably like 18) to make it to Cartoon Network in Ireland. Although CNX is great, could do with some Voltron.

 

Currently, they have no plans to put any of the series to DVD. They have limited episodes on VHS through their website and you can also get them via some online shopping sites. They had said they wanted to see what the outcome of both the current comics and upcoming series will do before they commit to marketing DVD's.

Update pt3

The new show is tentatively named "Voltron Interactive." WEP says they are going to bring back the classic style of the show and try and give us a more anime view.

Still no released air-date, but it may be later than this coming fall.
