I wish I knew some appreciable latin. I want to know what that means. It's a single line in the middle of a trance/rock song. The entire song seems to pull back and come to a pause and this little girl comes on, slowly singing those three lines, before the music moves on. I guess I'm a sucker for that kind of ish in music.

Anyway this marks the end of my vacation. Oddly enough I did everything I wanted to do, while I was out this time. I got scalped by the rental car agency (Enterprise sucks...) and ended up paying $400 more than originally anticipated (over three times the original price), AND I turned the car in early with no damage and a full gas tank. -.-;

Went to Vegas, Went to AX, spent alot of time at home sleeping in and even more time wondering what life would have been like had I only enlisted for four years vice six. All the kids I went to Basic training with are out already (the ones that didn't re-enlist or who weren't Nukes). I can only thank the stars that I didn't re-enlist myself when the opportunity arose. Having 5 years left vice 2 would probably drive me into an abysmal depression.

Vegas as good, but it could have been better if I had some money (phack you, Enterprise!!). Stayed at the Tropicana. I saw the MGM Grand, Bellagio, Wynn, Ceasar's Palace, Barbary Coast, Flamengo, New York New York, and pretty much drove past everything up and down the strip. Ceasar's Palace is rediculously large. It's got it's own enclosed shopping mall inside of it. The whole complex spans (what feels like to me) an entire city block. It was massive. Starting at one end it took us almost 15 minutes to walk to the other end, and we were walking outside.

AX was a blast, but I've yet to get all the film I've burned developed. Odds are good I'm going to piss off the guy at the X-ray tomorrow by having him hand check all the film rather than sending it through the machine. I wanna get them guys developed, and I wont risk nothing.

Here's to pissing off government employees. I'll be back in Virginia tomorrow night provided my plane doesn't crash. Knock on wood.
