Naruto Ultimate Chuunin/Genin Team

Chuunin/Genin Team

If you had to choose any 5 characters from Naruto to team up with for a mission who would you choose and why?

note: they have to be from the younger generation, so you can't have Jiraiya in there or Oro XD

 

I was going to say Kakashi

I would select
Naruto
Rock Lee
Shikamaru
Hyuga Hinata
Sasuke
Reasons why I choose these five:
- Clearly they're on the good side
- Cooperative
- I didnt want to choose a person like Ino or Sakura, because they're "crush"/emotions would get in the way of their duty
>Hinata is an exception, because as it turns out. She had changed to the better, because of Naruto. (example>chunin preliminaries)

 

My mistake :shy:, in the manga it was actually four when the current team was made(unless you count the dog but I think animals are considered a tool or a weapon). We can change it if you want, to "what would be the ultimate team?"

The five person team I would go with is:

Hyuga Neji
I find that Neji is a strong fighter who can use the Jyuken in tight situations.
Naruto
I chose Naruto because his Kage no Bunshin could be used to create diversions, plus his Rasengan is very powerful. Actually he could use Harem no Jutsu to get rid of those closet pervert bad guys too.
Rock Lee
He is a hard worker so I think he would make a very cooperative team member who will do his best to lead us to victory. He is incredibly strong also,

too bad about what happened to him against Gaara, though.. I hope that a certain someone can heal him

Uchiha Sasuke
Even though I find him ennervating he did graduate at the top of the class and his Sharingan would be a great asset for the team.
Inuzuka Kiba
He and his dog would make great scouts.. and it was either him I chose or Pakkun.



I would have chosen Shikamaru, but I would be afraid of him taking off. He is a good leader but I think he would find it "bothersome" to be lead by anyone else. I can't see Gaara being in the ultimate team either because he would be too hard to control and Naruto would tick him off to the point that Gaara will want to feast on everyone.

 

The best team, ne? Let's see... That would have to be:

Shikamaru

I would select Shikamaru to head up the team as leader. If you want to know why, read the spoiler, but I'm warning you, it IS a spoiler from the Chuunin exam which will be in episode 64 or 65 of the anime.

Spoiler: Shikamaru and Chuunin Exam

Why? Because of his skills as a tactician. If you read the Manga, in his fight against Temari, Shikamaru used some AMAZING strategy to catch her. His lack of stamina, which lost him said match in the end,:sweat2: might be an issue. BUT he wouldn't have to fight as much as the others AND, if he used his Kagemane Ossan no Jutsu (shadow binding technique), all he'd have to do is hold the enemy still while everyone else attacks.

Naruto

Well, this choice carries a major 'DUH factor', and it's not just because Naruto is the main character. Naruto is a VERY strong fighter with stamina to spare AND he's almost always a step or two ahead of his enemy in planing his next move, so he's a pretty good tactician in his own right. His Jutsu are very strong, some of which are at the Jounin level. As if that weren't already enough, I have another spoiler from the Manga which further proves my point;

Spoiler: Naruto and Gaara

Naruto was the only ninja, adult or otherwise, who was capable of defeating Gaara and the Tanuki within him. Now THAT'S strength!!! I don't think that even Sasuke could have done it. Though he WAS able to wound Gaara, it took all he had to do it. Naruto gave Gaara the beat-down of his life :dizzy2: and unintentionally taught him a few things about strength, love and loyalty while he was at it.

Sasuke

I would choose Sasuke for his Sharingan, strength, and speed. While there are a few, shall we say, 'concerns' that would make me, if I were his teammate, want to keep an eye on him, he can be trusted not to attack his allies. I would watch him only out of concern for him, not for myself. If you don't know what I mean by 'mark', don't read the following spoiler.

Spoiler: Sasuke's 'mark' and Sasuke's Brother

The cursed mark on Sasuke's neck left by Orochimaru makes it very possible that he may lose control of himself and die from using too much chakra. There's also a chance he may one day go in search of Orochimaru for power, though the second possibility is the less likely of the two. The other concern is, should they ever come across Itachi (Sasuke's brother) who killed everyone in the Uchiha clan but Sasuke himself, he may leave to fight him alone and get himself killed. These concerns are not enough to make me ignore his usefullness as a team member, however.

Neji

I choose Neji for his Byakugan. The ability to shut down one's enemie's Tenketsu and stop their ability to use chakra would be a major asset in certain situations. Also his Hake Shou Kaiten not only prevents him from being injured (90% of the time) but he can also injure his enemy with it. He's not much of a team player, but I think his usefullness outweighs his loner tendencies.

Spoiler: Naruto, Neji and Neji's father

I think, now that he has been defeated by Naruto and has read the scroll his father left for him, that Neji may rethink what he believes about fate and hard work and, perhaps, he's a better person now.

And last, but not least...

Kabuto

I know what you're thinking "NANI?! (WHAT?!) A SOUND NINJA!! ARE YOU NUTS?!!" Actually, no. *looks up and puts a finger to her lips* At least, I don't think so..? I don't quite have a handle on Kabuto yet, but I know he has some good in him. I can tell. He's also a ninja who carries the ability to heal through chakra control, which is very rare indeed. He would make a valuable team member for that reason and for his combative skills as well.
Also...

Spoiler: Kabuto

He DID heal Hinata's wounded heart (that's physically, not emotionally wounded. :sad: Thank you, Neji. :anger2: Jerk.) while Naruto was fighting Neji. I don't think he wants to hurt Sasuke, but he also doesn't want Orochimaru to get his hands on him, so he's conflicted.

Okies, I'll let someone else have a shot at this list now. :catgirl:

 

AWRIGHT!! I love discussing stuff like this!!

*SPOILERS AHEAD!!*

Naruto-Duh. Although he can be stupid and mess everyone up at times, he's got Kyuubi in him. That gives him the potential to become stronger than anyone else in the world because it is a source of power that only HE has. Plus, he's got Kage Bunshin. VERY useful.

Kabuto-Man...this guy is as powerful as Kakashi! He's real sharp! And he's able to heal! Don't tell me that that's not dead useful. Once you've got him loyal to you, he'll die for the team, but that might be a tad difficult. Alls we gotta do is kill Orochimaru! And make sure he STAYS dead!

Neji-Neji is more powerful than Hinata, and Byukugan is REALLY useful! Having power over chakra amazing!

Shikamaru-Hey, I know he's not exactly motivated, but this guy's a freakin' genius with an IQ of over 200!!!! He's definitely on the team...very useful for getting out of sticky situations. I would probably make him the leader.

At this point, I'm in a dilema. Kiba or Sasuke? You decide.
Kiba and Akamaru-*sniff sniff* Need I say more? Just as long as Naruto (or anyone else, for that matter) doesn't fart, he'll be OK! Kiba, when transformed, can rip people apart! I think Akamaru is a plus, seeing as he can turn into a Kiba double, and their whirly attack is definitely an asset to the force.

Sasuke-Sharingan could come in handy...AND he's a really good fighter. He's got the speed and taijutsu of Rock Lee, and Chidori!! I wouldn't worry too much about the seal on his neck...as long as he's with Naruto, he should be OK.

hahah...you do have a point there, That guy! I considered having Gaara on the team myself...


*edit* hey...I'm wondering why everyone is choosing Hinata over Neji...Neji has the Byukugan blood running through him the most, and, as seen in the last couple Manga chapters, he can cooperate well with a team. Now, I know Hinata's got all this stuff too, but quite frankly, despite all the "bettering myself" thingamabobs, Neji is much more powerful than she is. Plus, he's not a nutter about fate any more.
