Movies Underworld.

Anybody got any facts?

 

All i know about it is that is a action movie between Vampires and Werewolves who both want this man.

I find it kinda funny on how all action movies these days are all fought with big heavy leather jackets which would normally slow you down tremendously. ie: the matrix, underworld

 

Though taking into account the fact that their attributes are beyond human and probably something limited only to the imagination, they could balance a tank over their heads and run at that speed, so...

Anyways I saw the trailer of this, by suggestion of my friend, and we plan on going to see it as soon as it comes out.

 

all i know is its about vampires and a girl bent on revenge lol...it seems cool. Nice action sequences in teh commercial^_^

 

haha when i first saw the beginning of the trailer i thought it was for Matrix Revolutions for like 2 seconds..heh

 

Alls i know is she wants revenge for her family,and she fights creatures called Liechen,or somethin.

Yeah, Lycans (or Lykans, is how I think they spell it in the film, and I believe they spell Vampire "Vampyre", as well). I just got back fro mseeing this movie and, although my opinion is a bit biased as I love just about every movie with Vampires and/or Werewolves/Lycanthropes, I still thought it was bloody awesome. And I also have a thing for those accents. Anyways, if you're a fan of either Vampires or Werewolves, check it out, you shouldn't be disappointed. And even if you aren't and want to see some nifty actions scenes and a quite enthralling plot, check it out as well.

I, personally, plan on seeing it again.

 

Sounds very go to me. I have only seen the trailer, but i plan on seeing it sometime in the near future.

Do you think youll see it as many times as I saw Pirates at the theaters? I saw Pirates 6 times and it never got old.

 

I also plan to see it along with The Order. The movie really does look like a matrix type movie. Does anyone know if the under world is made by the people who made the matrix?

 

Does anyone else think they just stole the plot from White Wolf Games' "Vampire: The Masquerade" and "Werewolf: The Apocalypse"? It seems like the exact same idea. Of course, based on those games, the vampires would get absolutely wasted ...

Oh, and for the record, it's spelled "lycanthrope".

 

To reprise my previous comment, I heard White Wolf is suing the makers of this movie.

 

well i went to see this movie last night.. and after siting through a lot of bad acting and boring plot.. I must say.. this Movie was a Huge Disapointment.


the Vampires in this Flick were all a bunch of weaklings.. I mean hardly Vampire worthy.. The only Vampire that could kick some *** without a Gun was the oldest Vampire alive.. err dead.

Oh well ill go watch Vampire Hunter D to see some real Vampire Kick *** action..

May contain spoilers........I saw this movie this past weekend. It was okay, but not especially good nor bad. Yes, the vampires didn't have much special powers nor even great speed/strength other than being able to drop from high places, or attaching to ceilings (which only happened once I think). The werewolves are much stronger, since they're all muscular when they transform, and can also run on the walls or ceilings (I'm not sure if they do it magically or cuz their claws dig into the wood). Most of the time though, both sides rely a lot on guns and weapons. Apart from obvious super bullets that either side uses, there aren't that many cool weapons anyway. (If they were to rely more on weapons, you'd think they'd go super creative, right?) And yeah, pretty much the best fight is at the end, between the special guy and Viktor the top vampyre (strong enough to kill a werewolf with his barehands, without much effort)

One of the things my friend pointed out was that these vampyres do have reflections in mirrors. That sort of got him thinking "Uh oh, the movie makers made a boo-boo." But of course, not everyone's portrayal of vampires are the same. Even the werewolves in this movie aren't typical werewolves, cuz these ones can change at will and run on ceilings.

I am getting tired though, of characters "falling in love" just from talking to each other several times through heavy action. Also tired of gun fights where people fire 30 rounds at each other without taking cover, and no one gets hit until the very end. I don't mean to nitpick at this movie about this kind of thing, but you know, this movie came up kinda short to all the hype it brought. I personally felt that it was gonna be at least at a same level of black-n-chrome-fighting as The Matrix, but I bet all of us could direct a cooler movie.
