Saber Marionette Update: Progress of various SMJ projects

Hey guys,I thought I'd update you on where I stand on various SMJ-related projects that I've started.

SMJ shrine - I intend to devote part of the site to an episode guide along the lines of Midwinter Software's The Lurker's Guide to Babylon 5 . I have yet to start on this as I am trying to get permission to use their idea.

MST series ("Andy's Null Space") - The intro fanfic that launches the underlying story arc and the first MST are done. I'm in the process of transforming the fics into HTML format for posting.

SMJ Manga Translation - I started on this over winter break,but it's going very slowly. I've laid down the ground rules for the translation process and started with the table of contents scan that Lady Aoi sent me. Work may pick up shortly,but it will depend on how my job search and coursework are going.

InuYasha - That's a lot on my plate. But it's all in the name of my favorite anime series.

~ Translation Scans: Gomen, but I don't have a scanner now, and the scanner at the cafe is way too expensive to use, especially for someone without a job (long story). Expect them to start up regularly in June ^^.

I have a few announcements to make:

First of all,this weekend I finally got my grubby little paws on a copy of the J Again DVD. I can confirm that they left everything intact from the VHS versions. In addition,the special features include Japanese commercials for the various series in the J continuum (2 for SMJ,2 for J Again,and 1 for J to X). None of the commercials on the DVD appear on Hanami's SM World.

Seondly,at the behest of Lady Aoi,I have decided to continue my SMJ Bloopers fic. Be prepared for more insanity on the part of Lime,Otaru,Hanagata and others.

InuYasha - Who knew that being an obsessed SMJer would be so much fun?

singular rose gets a face lift

Some future plans:

Comming in Summer 2002 expect to see the Rose undergo several changes. I am toying with the following ideas:

1) Hanagata's Blog: What the hey-lo was I thinking with this? I'm thinking of scrapping the pitas and turning this feature into a combination Hanako diary and "ask Hanagata" page, as his shiratakiness has agreed to field questions from his many fans (okay me and three yaoi-crazed girls but that's beside the point ^^).

2) Image gallery! Notice how the gallery link has been dead since the site went up? Well all that is going to change this summer. Hanagata's image gallery will be extensive. Expect galleries for Yumeji, Kamatarou and (if he plays his cards right) Otaru himself. Who knows? The marionettes might even make an appearance or two.

3) I'm thinking about moving the Rose to a paid domain, too, so geocities can't own/censor/mess with anything I or other site contributors have sent in (and of course to get enough space to post the image gallery and the winamp skins I've got ^^). We'll see if I can find the money.

4) More fan works... TBA.
