Manga Uzumaki

Anyone here read the horror manga by Junji Ito? Its really good... Uzumaki means Spiral... its about a town is cursed by dealth... The Spiral is the theme... I am not going to spoil it but its great art and everything. If you have not read it its worth it.

 

Wow! Sound's interesting...I love horror types, especially in anime. Have you heard of Yami no Matsuei???

 

I'm going to have to look into that. I love anything that has a dark, evil, gothic, violent, profane and controversial theme. I try to fit as much of those as possible into all my writings.

 

Yami no Matsuei... hmmmm... doesn't ring a bell but I will look for it.

Yeah if you like dark stuff this is the best of its kind.

 

It's highly recommended. Someone told me there is a little shounen-ai in the manga...I'm not really sure 'coz I never encountered the manga, I've only watched the anime, and I don't see any shounen-ai in it.

ive read Uzumaki manga & its great & i have only the first 2 books ..& iam looking for more..

I've read summries of the manga and it dosen't have any thing nasty in it or I woudn't have given it a chance.

 

Yami no Matsuei only has slight shounen-ai, like the main villain flirting with the main character, but it's not nasty, In fact I find it funny, I mean laugh out loud funny. I just watched an episode on AXN-ASIA yesterday, and Muraki (the main villain) is flirting with Tsu-chan (main character). Tha manga has it too and I've seen proof, I'll show it to you if I got it, but I didn't 'coz that's too much for me...I don't like to keep those kinds of pics....

There is no anime out of it but there is an actually live action movie out called Spiral. Its all Japanesse with subtitles... Try finding it and renting it. Its based on the first volume.
