No, it's not a play on the popular online comic, it's another neat little site I came across while surfing!

A quick description of the webmistress (cited from the page):

"HIROKO KATO is a freelance journalist based in Tokyo. She lives with her computer nerd husband who has a different family name. HIROKO has an experience of living with vegan advocates in Baltimore for six months."

An interesting page detailing how to eat Vegetarian style in Japan! Give it a looksee!

    And more...

Had a short exchange with Hiroko, asking if she knew of any other sites that might have been of some interest to me...and here's what she had to say:

"Here are a couple of sites you might enjoy.

http://www.orientalfood.com/culture/regional/Japan/tofu/index.shtml (about tofu making experience by Japanese students)

http://webpages.charter.net/crrey/fujiko/ (The site of my friend artist, Fujiko Isomura. Her artworks maybe interesting enough because her theme is bridge two different cultures, Japan and America.)

There are not so many web sites written in English by Japanese people but when I find anything looks interesting, I'll let you know."

It is pretty great living in a technological age where you can communicate over long distances with the click of a button, ne?

    BakaMattSu, bridging the gap again...
