Here's something for the really, really true Voltron fans out there.

What was the name of each united ship the three teams would form when they explored a new world?

Who can name the entire space explorers team?

What were Vehicle Voltrons main weapons?

What was the name of the Starship that carried the team?

Let's have some fun with this thread..........

 

Hmmm...do you mean Air, Land, and Sea teams, or when they combined to form their three ships, the actual ships had names?

I can't come close to naming everyone, so I won't even try. I know four of the members of the Air team. If I can think of the fifth, I'll post it (unless you want me to name what I know).

Vehicle Voltron had, or course, the Blazing Sword and...damn...what was the name of the helicopter blades from his shoulders...spinning shoulder blades? No...it was something else.

I can't think of the ship's name. I can see it clear as day, but can't think of the name!

Some VV fan I am, eh?

each team had a name for their ship they could create.

I think the air team was "Strato-Fighter or Strato-Strike"

the blades on his shoulders were like ninja stars.

and do you remember the Ion Spear that came out of his legs??

the name of the team is going to be really hard, considering they probably never said everyones name in the series.

I have both Voltrons in my home office ina collectors cabinet.

Lions are formed completely, but my vehicle voltron is split into the team ships--he's too tall for the shelve its on.

 

Air Team: Jeff, Wolo, Chip, Rocky, and Ginger

Sea Team: Crik, Lisa, Zandee, Shannon, and Tangor,

Land Team: Cliff, Sinda, Modock, Marvin, and Hutch

The name of the command ship is The Explorer!

I love that pic....right in the opening when he says, "Voltron was needed once more" as the starfield races behind Voltron!

I can't remember what the name of the three vehicles are. But I'm getting a couple VV episodes on tape next week, so maybe they mention their names there.

 

where do you get your videos from?

 

I got them from WEP's official Voltron site: www.voltronforce.com. When you buy two, you get a free t-shirt!

I haven't seen a VV episode since it was on TV. I can't wait!

I'm going to order the VV vids soon from that site also.
I am also going to get the Lion Voltron vids that I don't already have.
I want to order the Fleet of Doom from either SunCoast or Amazon.

Fleet of Doom

Do those places have Fleet of Doom? I wrote to WEP and they gave me a special place to order it, but if it is easily available at those vendors, that's cool. I wish Jameson Brewer wrote this instead of Marc Handler. Brewer's Battle of the Planets, Vehicle Voltron, and Lion Voltron writing is excellent...a fine balance for both the child and the adult to enjoy. Handler aims towards the kids with dorky puns and silly statements.

Amazon does have Fleet of Doom, I havent checked with SunCoast yet.

 

do they plan on putting any of the Voltron tapes on DVD? That would really be great to get the collection that way.

I may have to get the new Phillips VHS/DVD recorder and convert my tapes over myself.

 

DVDs

WEP is talking with a company to make Voltron DVDs. It will happen eventually...just don't know when yet.

I dont like watching videos, and if I did order them they would more than likely be ntsc not pal.

 

What is NTSC and PAL???

 

NTSC is for VCRs in the United States, and PAL is for VCRs in the UK.
