Slayers Universe Very cool anime

    I thought Slayers is very funny! Of course, the best part of it is not the plot but the humor. It's just more Megumi Hayashibara goodies! ;)

    I hear Shining Girl's in the movie somewhere ...
    I liked the OVA's best myself ... And the Scary Chimaera Project was a classic. The Nahga clones ... they enhance the word "scary" in the title further ...

    I've never seen the OAV; I only started watching the Tv series Slayers recently, so..yeah

    Slayers is one of my all time favorite series. I almost had a heart attack when I found out the International Channel started airing the first season on Sundays. It almost makes up for the fact that I cant get the Sci Fi channel out over here.

    I have to say, slayers is one of my favorite series^^
    I've seen every eps., and have the whole series on DVD.
    Out of all character, who do u thinks best?

    ^__^ meeh? I have the first slayers et on DVD and I've seen the whole series (hehehe...poo-poo fillia XD) I'd say that it is the best anime I've seen (that might change tomorrow, tho) And...hummm....let's see... It changed my life o_O sounds weird, ne? it really did. Changed the way I think...

    ANYWAY slayers try if my fav our of the three and my favourite characetsr are

    1. HELLMASTER =_= he died before try though...pity.
    2. Valgaav ^___^ he's soooooooooo sexeh!
    2 1\4. Xelly-poo ....okay, who doesn't love him?
    2 1\2. Filia ...ehe...=_= please don't ask.

    Oh, this question again, huh?

    Well, we truthfully haven't asked it in this forum yet so, okay!

    But I want to hear why you chose them if you haven't stated so already!

    1 - Lina Inverse (she kicks butt, is a greedy pig, but still plays part of heroine!)

    2 - Amelia Wil Tessen (Justice has a name, and it's Amelia! Almost every comedic anime I know has one of these overly-genki types...:))

    3 - Gourry Gabriev ('cause he plain just don't get it! Everybody will have a big 20 minute discussion, and he'll wait to the end to say he didn't understand a bit of it...)

    4 - Zelgadis Greywords (Half golem, now that's neat.)

    Missing the list by the narrowest of narrow margins:

    Xellos (it's hard to tell which side he's on all the time, even though the answer's always obvious. "I can't tell you, because it's a secret." :))

    Filia (overreacting, yet strangely attracting... Still, you call what she transforms into a "dragon"...? :D)

    BakaMattSu, Yeessss! Some Slayers fans! Let's get to work and build this Forum, alright?

    Zelgadis is 1/3 human, 1/3 golem and 1/3 blue demon. And yes, Filia IS a dragon but blah blah blah...Xelly is n the side of evil because he is mazoku. Now, we all know that mazoku are made pureply of compressed negative human amotions and... =_= too much time at slayersRPG has kinda got to my head *disappears into the shadows*

    I never said I was good at remembering things....

    -Yes, I stand corrected on the subject of Zel. It's been far too long since I've seen the series, but that doesn't mean it is far from my scope of interest...

    -And yes, my comment on Filia was purposefully sarcastic... as in, I know fully that she is a Gold Dragon, but that her transformed figure is laughable...

    -Like I had said with Xellos - the answer is obviously going to be the Marduks, since he was created by/from the Greater Demon Zelas-Metallium to serve her... but as a "trickster priest", he sometimes makes you wonder...

    Anyhow, 'nuff said! Don't hesitate to correct me again! I'm not so vain as to not admit to being wrong...

    when I first saw slayers next, I thought xelly was a girl
    I also wanted him to die...because...yeah. I didnt like him.

    Filia looks like a gosh-darned POKEMON in her dragons form....

    I only have and seen Slayers Next and Try DVD collection, haven't seen the first yet. And yes it is one of the best anime series, but there are others.

    Now lets see, 1,2&3- Xelloss! jk

    1. Xelloss- I love the way he pretends he good and cares but really doesn't, a really good actor. I also love it that he helps trhe good guys for he's own dark purposes! Damn I love him!

    2. Lina Inverse- Because she kicks butt, gets everything she wants and saves the world and she's only 16 (i think) :anime:

    3. Zelgadis, Amelia and Gourry- Zel because he's always trying to be serious and stuff, but sometimes never quite gets it. Amelia because she's soo cute with the Justice thing! and Gourry because he's stupid and makes me laugh!

    Oyoy! more slayers fans! yes! this is goody good! ^_^ Hellmaster sooo happy...

    I would also say thst I like Valgaav for his burning hatred\insanity. What better way to right all wrongs... But destroying all :D how ironic.

    Slayers has been my favorite anime since I caught hold of it by luck while watching DBZ on the international channel. It was the first anime I saw subtitled besides DBZ of all things. And since that time even through I have watched many more nothing has impacted me as Slayers did.

    Finally!

    Slayers series is one of my absolute favorites and everytime i think of it I always smile/laugh cause of the comedy in it.

    The things I like most is the serious things that take place (like the sub story in TRY for example), but I really enjoy all the humor in it of course

    The theme's are really catchy for anime (it's nothing I listen to outside the animes) and I just love Linas voice

    Just love the most characters, a big exeption is Naga....

    ok now to favorites:

    1. Valgaav: I choose Valgaav cause I just like the history about him and it's a sad story. He ain't really a bad guy, I think that everyone in his situation would want revenge for what happened to him and his kind

    2. Filia: Second comes Filia which I choose cause she is just a "child/teen" (in dragon age) and her stubborness about Xellos being a Mazoku and following the gang which is against her beliefs (to cooperate with an evil being).

    3. Gotta have the heroine with so third will go to Lina Inverse
