    Violence Jack is back, and this time he faces a new enemy called the Slumking, ruler of the wastelands left after the comet-induced earthquake in Tokyo. This is a strangely disjointed episode in the Violence Jack saga that climaxes with our hero fighting Captain Harlem Bomber, one of the Slumking's underlings, instead of the Slumking himself. Jack demonstrates two new talents in this episode: the power to regenerate lost limbs and damaged eyes from lightning, and the ability to change into bird form. Gratuitous nudity and throwaway characters add nothing to a poor storyline.

    violence jack === devilman

    hey i remember reading online that violence jack was a continuation of devilman, not to sure if this has todo with the devilman manga, but i think it was something like that satan killed devilman and felt to bad about it that he turned himslf into some small creature , and was to be endless picked on by his new master the slumking, even the characther design for violence jack is very similar to that of devilman, any chance you could help me with this theory of mine, i think maybe that both animes were done by the same guy

    The first 3 episodes are available on a Manga Entertainment DVD...great trashy fun!
