I love this show!! And how can you go wrong with the musical score also. It's so cool how they play all these Mozart, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky songs and the songs have a magical effect on people. I always though it was cool when Raiel and Hameln played The Swan(??) and those birds made out of water would be summoned.

The end was kinda blah though... I don't know if the manga has an ending like that though... but then again the manga is funny as hell!

Yeah, the very very end bit, like the last three minutes (and to avoid spoiling I won't go into details) confused the heck out of me. I haven't read the manga but I hear it's just as funny as you say (I also have the half hour "movie" of Hameln that they made which is easily one of the more funny animes I've seen in awhile)

And Raiel and Hameln both play Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" to summon those awesome birds. I don't remember exactly what part of Swan Lake they use though...

    AYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm crazy for Hameln!!! SIZER IS SO AWESOME!
but the anime, which I have and the movie, is just a bit too dark for me. I don't care about spoiling, cuz a friend didn't care, but everyone just ends up all happy and has tons of kids.

    Flute+Hameln
    Sizer+Raiel
    Trom+Cornet (me thinks)

they all look pretty cool when they have a scene of them when they are older (Flute, Trom, Cornet)
but the sense of hope which they spoke of in the anime seemed to far gone...
so my urge to get the manga is so much stronger after being cheated by the anime.
but anyways, X was so much more tragic and sad...

I haven't read the manga yet (just seen the "movie" it inspired), but I rather liked the anime. Granted no one should watch it all in one setting like I did (I had a broken toe and nothing to do with my time for a few days -_-;); doing so can prove exaustive to one's emotions. At times I did find myself getting annoyed with it though, when characters just seemed a little *too* tragic or short sighted to believe (Zitharin, Hameln's constant running away due to his whole inner debate on his most basic nature, blah blah). And I didn't really care for Flute. Otherwise, I really loved the anime.

    And yes, Sizer is awesome!

~ Lady Aoi: as is Ocarina

Ocarina is (pardon my grammar) WAY more Awesomer in the manga!!! I'll scan some images of volume 19 for you when I have the chance.

    Fav characters: Sizer, Ocarina, Oboe.

do I like the pretty ones??? Clary/Clarinet is awesome too ^_^

I thought Pandora was pretty..but she has a serious problem..its tragically sad.
