I'm going to go pick up Voltron #1 (main series) tomorrow. I've heard it's excellent, so I can't wait! Did anyone else pick it up yet?

    Hey Sven,

I just got my issue. I have to say, it is very much worth the wait. I think Dan Jolley's group nailed it this time with the story arc.

From what I have seen so far, I can't wait til #2 comes out to see the faith of the Lions.

I was going to get mine on Friday, but it was -5 outside, so I just stayed inside. I probably won't get it until this Friday now. I cannot wait. I saw the cover of Issue #3...Lion and Vehicle battling it out!

BTW, thanks for not dropping any spoilers. I hate when people do that. :anime:

Not to worry my friend. I was trying to be very careful how I responded to your question in the first place.

But let me just tell you this--You will not be disappointed.

I can't say I don't know what you mean. I have been somewhat disappointed in the amount of pages in the six issues of Voltron so far. It would be one thing if there were no ads. But, the art and strory make it worth it to me.

The very first comic I bought (that I remember) as a serious collector was Batman 428, when Jason Todd was killed as Robin at the hands of the Joker. That was 75 cents. Now look the prices!

i guess the prices are supposed to offset the costs of the nice, shiny paper we get now, eh? i wish they'd dump the ads too...

I guess we can look at it this way--without the ads, we would never be able to afford any comic book that hit the stores--they would cost too much.
