Recreation Wallpapers

Ok, Just felt like opening up something for all of the people like me who make wallpapers, (lame or not) and wanna share their work. I'd suggest a link, that's what I'm gunna do, My first project? Mugen no Ryvius! Probably going to make one for the character Buru. Just as soon as I have a room to live in/put my comp in/sleep in...

ok... trying that link has told me one thing... it looks like no matter who tries it the first time, it will give a 404, but, send the same address on the location/address bar and it loads fine... or try to click the link again... I've been puzzling about why this one does that since I posted it. The link is verbatim of what it needs to be. If the link continues to be gay so no one can see it, I'll do something else with it.

Like magic, it appears. Looks nice, like the layout. There are a fair number of artifacts though. Did the main picture come from a screen cap? You could do like I did with my winamp skin, and use adobe to rub the artifacts out.. I must have been nuts

Good job. I wish I was artistic and all. Or at least that I could express it with pixels.

I can't remember the name of the tool.. it's like blur or rub or something. just like a pen, you can configure the size, and all within it blurs slightly, the more you move it, the more it slightly blurs, getting rid of edges. Problem is you have to do it by hand. Compare an old version of my skin (like the first one) with the latest, in doublesize and you should see a new lack of artifacts.

I've posted a tweaked copy of the wallpaper, it replaces the first draft that's linked above. It's the same drill as before.

I know you are waiting for better source.. so:
looks a lot better, but the dude's face still has some sharp color differences, even lines where the color changes. Rubbing them would make the transition less stark. Perfectionist...

looks really good though, I like the layout a lot.

The only editing I did that time was the background, I'll get around to the character soon enough, I'm still not satisfied with the tweak job I did, I'll tweak more later and you all will see the results... oh yes, you will.
