I'm trying to teach myself the art of Counter-Strike mapping, but I'm freakin' clueless as to how to do anything. I'm using Valve's program "Hammer Editor", and for the life of me I can't figure out how to differentiate the teams when defining player start points. If anyone can either help, or point me in the direction of someone who can, it'd be really nice.

it's depends the stage u r doing it...

it's about hostage ,bomb , rescue VIP or just a fight?

if it's a hostage u must keep the CT start point in hostage resuce piont, and the trerriost point near the hostages not very close.

if it's a bomb u must keep the CT start piont in the bomb point, the trerriost away from any bomb point.

if it's rescue VIP u must keep the CT start point away from the escape point, the trerriost near the escape point(not very close).

if it's only fight just keep the CT start point in the begging of the level and the trerriost in the last of the level.

or if the level is side same as: pool_day or Quickfire or pool_day2 u must keep the start point one in the side and the other is in the other side.

Thanks a lot. It's a straight-up deathmatch, since it's my first level and I want to keep it simple. You were a great help.
